    Hello and thanks for your comment.
    Yes, I'll be addressing that in the video after the next one, since those are among external references and OLE's objects. Thanks a lot for your input and best regards.

    Hello. I had one questions about this specific tutorial. I just installed the 2013 but in this tutorial I cannot find the block samples like you have in the video. Do i need to have previous saved files where those blocks were created, because mine does not give me all the options you have, Thank you for these videos. I have not worked on autocad for 2 years and this has reallllly helped me.Thanks again and please keep making videos.You are a life saver !

      Albulena Etemi Well everyone should have them in the design center. What type of CAD are you using, the regular 2013, the student version, a cracked one or a trial?. Try typing command "design center" and see if you have it. Then you will have to locate the block samples accordingly. Please let me know so I can help you more. Hope this will guide you.

    Another helpful video. Have you used Autocad 2014 for Mac?

      @easycad4you  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hello,

    Hi, the solution for that is on the "Object snap" drawing aid. Please visit the video #4 called "Learning Autocad 2013: BASIC DRAWING AIDS" and let me know if that helps you. You have to specify what points it'll suggest.

    thanks for ur reply but as u said double check the measurements of the block. its measurement is 1524 x 915.03 am using metric on my drawing and am using scale on my drawing 1 : 1 thanks again for ur help

    • @easycad4you
      @easycad4you  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      nicolas jr nikcool Ok, you have to compare it to what you have on the drawing. So for example if your drawing is a small part of 500 mm then the block you inserted is huge compared to that. So point is to determine if there is something wrong with the insertion scale from the Design Center or just that the block is bigger than what you have on screen.

    Hi,
    How are u finding the middle of the object so quickly? eg. the bath tube , if i want to do it and draw a line in the centre of sth. the center point dissapears and makes my life harder, u seem to be finding it with ease. How do u get that yellow triangle? I dont have that. Another thing when i press an object it shows me like 100 points on it and u only get like center and 2 other. Last thing : the colour of my sink cabinet is not changing, only the rest of our furniture. Many thanks

    hello, does .85 make the object/sink smaller? As if you were using 85% of the actual block size instead of 100% ? Were you eyeballing the size? Also, do you think CAD runs better in a MAC or PC? Thanks

    • @easycad4you
      @easycad4you  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, 1=100%, any number less than 1 will shrink the block and of course bigger will increase the size as you are saying. As of now, both are pretty well and stable, but have in mind that Cad was designed for Windows platform, there are certain variations between the 2. I prefer using Cad in a PC but have no problems with Mac either. In the past it used to crash more often in Mac, but I haven't seen it in recent versions.

    thanks sir but the area for insertion is 3sq.m. and i think its from the insertion scale from design center. how do i fix it
    one thing also the design center window don't contain the usual right and left pane. Do you have any idea as to what cause this glitch. ManyThanks and nice weekend

    • @easycad4you
      @easycad4you  10 ปีที่แล้ว

      nicolas jr nikcool Hello,Try sending me a screenshot of what it is. Besides what block are you trying to insert? what version of CAD are you using? You can drag and drop it in the model space, so I don't quite understand what you mean.

    How can i change the view from front view to top view of the object that was taken from the design center?

    • @easycad4you
      @easycad4you  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just click them and select the view you prefer, if it has the option you will be able to do it, unfortunately some don't have it.

      xharp dm You have them all along with the description in the design center. If you need to modify it then you specify what you need as we did with the bathtub. Let me know if this helps and regards.
