Seriously.. autocad from codecamp.. 😂😂. Man I'm bumped and happy at same time. You guys always deliver best free material. This should be the same quality as before. No wonder you could have save so many students course fees who went for other classes.
I'm self taught, on AutoSketch on IBM XT then on to Release 9 for DOS(!), yeah a long time ago When R14 for Windows came out it was like OMG! However there are some glaring (sink)holes in my AutoCAD knowledge as I only learned enough to do what I needed to do. So I'm now finally hoping to fill the holes! Thank you!
Thanks for sharing. Im one of the pioneer in using ACAD since 1988, that time its under XT and Dos command. By 1998 i changed path so i forgot already mostly on settings. Now that im on my 50's i decided to go back and learn again. I forgot the settings for DIMENSIONS, SCALING, LAYERING. Without this defaults we cannot start on drawings. By the way my specialization is Structural Detailing. Thanks.
Ahhhh, Someone who understands. I too learned ACAD back in 1994. Haven't used it ACAD since 1995... I stumbled into this Channel talking about ACAD... I'm looking to get back into ACAD...

We learned AutoCAD at my mechanical university in order to learn how to properly draw stuff, i thought it was also used for 3d moddeling and it would be easy to create something, I watched a lot of tutorials during the 6 hour period but I managed to create a screw. No connection whatsoever to the video but I wanted to say it took me a year to realise AutoCAD is mainly used for arhitecture.
Thank you for this tutorial..i'm re-learning autocad now..last autocad i used was a 2008 version..and you also earn my subscription 'cause i'm interested in coding too..

Course is great thanks! But beginners keep in mind that offset and copy is not the same thing. Sometimes my man here uses offset when he should have used copy. If you are beginner research it a bit, it is a major pitfall. "The Offset command creates a parallel copy at a specified distance, while the Copy command makes an identical copy without changing the distance. They accomplish similar but distinct goals."
Outstanding presentation! I need more tutorials for rhino, grasshopper, modo, maya, zbrush... . I hope you can consider about 3d parametric or algoithmic modeling. thanks

I have no experience with AutoCAD so was starting from ground zero. This course provided me with all of the necessary tools and skills to do what I need to do for this project.
You have no idea how amazing your work is, thank you so much for this channel! A huge thanks from Brazil!

Seriously.. autocad from codecamp.. 😂😂. Man I'm bumped and happy at same time. You guys always deliver best free material. This should be the same quality as before. No wonder you could have save so many students course fees who went for other classes.
Indeed
Thanks.
Ahhhh,
Someone who understands.
I too learned ACAD back in 1994.
Haven't used it ACAD since 1995...
I stumbled into this Channel talking about ACAD...
I'm looking to get back into ACAD...

I wanted to say thank you, you have been a huge help in preparing me for a CAD course I'm doing for work. (A HUGE HELP!)
Sir please tell how to install AutoCAD..
It's better to watch and appreciate a 6:18:15 full course than to glue our eyes on a one-hour or two crash course.

wow cul, I did civil eng and I was learning coding via u guys and I see even autocad counts here, thanks time for a refresher then, grazie tante
Are there very many civil engineering jobs that can use programming?
@@ngkngk875 im a first year student in civil engineering. coding is not a thing in this area that i know of, we do use modeling programs like autocad etc. but we do not code. if you are interested in civil engineering i suggest looking at statics.
@@jvheo9313 Im a field engineer in construction and we have a couple civil engineers, also some guys with building construction degrees. Im still in school also, I was in for computer science but can’t really see myself coding all day so Im switching my degree over to something engineering oriented. What field do you want to get in when you are done?
Wahh feels so nice to actually finish the whole thing, thanks so much for this! Really big help!
The fact that a university course for AutoCAD is free on TH-cam upsets me, but makes me happy

Thank you so much for the time and effort that you have put into making this wonderful AutoCAD educational tutorial series.

I have seen your Revit tutorial as well, it's really good and helpful too, thank you.👍👍👍
Agreed
Thank you very much for this! Having to learn about it in advance means so much to me as we will be taking this up next semester already. So excited to create my next plate with autocadddd. May you be blessed in your future endeavors!
Additionaly, I think you have the pro version of adobe acrobat? You can actually rotate the pdf there. Lots of tools to use for our convenience ☺️

You help lives out here, bless your soul
for measuring a certain distance it would better be to use the option in the top right corner of autocad where it is written "Measure", you press it and automatically measure any distance
Thank you for the great course and time spend to do this! 🙏
Best teacher ever. Such a fun class❤😊
This course is essential for all students. Good job

You're amazing dude! This course was amazing to watch!
You could check out my place for similar content 😉
Hi there. I have just discovered your TH-cam channel and have directly decided to subscribe to it. This is an amazing AUTOCAD teaching methodology. Can't thank enough, sir. Watching you in Johannesburg, South Africa 🇿🇦 but I am originally from the DRC 🇨🇩. 💖💖🙏🙏🤝🤝
Man this is great stuff!
Thank you for this tutorials. You're a good teacher easy to understand.
Why You Removed DUDU?
Outstanding presentation! I need more tutorials for rhino, grasshopper, modo, maya, zbrush... . I hope you can consider about 3d parametric or algoithmic modeling. thanks
