You are very humble and great human being. Sir, your methods for modeling are absolutely amazing. I am learning C4D with each of your tutorials. Many Thanks.
Thanks for sharing your methods! I have seen many other tutorial channels for cinema 4D but none of them have as much depth and detail as yours do. Even though I might not be modeling a knob anytime soon, the techniques you demonstrated would be very useful for everything I do.
This is a cool and super awesome tutorial. Especially for a musician/Recording Engineer like myself. (And I like the AE interface colors you use in c4d) Rock on!
Nice one, mr. Nico :) Just a small tip: when you drag and drop material on a selection in viewport you dont have to set it manualy and assign to material.
Glad you like it and thanks for your suggestion with the selection. I know this, but often I simply don't think about, because sometimes I have such small selections where it is easier to drag the tag inside the slot then as to aim for the selection ;) But thanks again!
sorry to be offtopic but does anyone know a trick to log back into an Instagram account..? I somehow forgot the login password. I would love any tricks you can offer me.
@Morgan Adriel thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
Hello Nikolas, this is a question from a beginner, why my object turns black when i put reflectance on it, and is there any preset environment in your project? great tutorials big thanks.
This is a new feature in Cinema 4D Version R18 that you can see reflections in the viewport. If you have an earlier Version, it will show just black. But with the shortcut "N-Q" you can deactivate the textures in the viewport, so you can work better. Glad you like my tutorials ;)
Quick question! Can you show how to model a synthesizer from scratch? I've watched loads of your tutorials but couldn't spot anything like this. I've seen your portfolio mate, dope stuff you've got in there :D
@@nikomedia Hmm, I didn't really think about the model but I think it could be something which includes modern look like LCD visuals + proper oldschool with cables. I'm just trying to find a best way of modeling things like knobs, inputs, outputs, sliders etc. and put it all together. Your modeling skills are incredible and you have done it already + uphoria vst you have done looks gorgous!!! Thanks for doing this by the way! Glad to hear I'm on your list. I'll be waiting patiently :-D
You are very welcome. Yes, the knife works a little different in R18, but as I said in the tutorial. If you have an earlier version, just press "K" on your keyboard and then choose the Loop Mode for the knife in the knife settings and then make the four cuts you need. One on each side and two in between them. then you get the same result as I got with the symmetrical cut.
Here I show how to change the language of the plugin. Then it should be pretty self explanatory. th-cam.com/video/J_-K0V25VS8/w-d-xo.html Next time, please write in German, or English ;)

Kannst du mir verraten wie du den schwarzen Strich hinbekommen hast?

Thanks for the cool tutorial.15:17 i can't find 'Loop/Path cut' in my C4d. it's because R17.016?

Thank you! have a nice day
You can just use default radial gradient, and multiply it several times. It would look much more detailed and easier to apply.
Dank Mr. Niko. u're the best.

Whats the optimize script do?
It does exactly what it says. It makes an object editable and optimizes the points ;)
