Your comparison between the expensive box and the cheap box was amazing. It just goes to show that sometimes the most expensive option isn't necessarily the best one available. Ultimately, the choice depends on an individual's needs and requirements.

My old top box, a GIVI one, dropped off my old motorcycle because the bracket holding it snapped over a hump. Superficial scratches. I had to buy a new GIVI bracket to replace the broken one. My new top box is an aluminium one similar to the zedge. GIVI may be a good brand but metal >>>> plastic.
Just drop my givi trekker 58L top box. While riding along expressway. Lucky never hit and car behind me. Base plate catch crack may due to the pass few day’s riding though a few pot hole. Box hold up well. But the only thing is that the key hole was grinding on the road, key cannot unlock the box.😅 have to drill it out.
I don't think that in real life you will high pressure rain jets that shoot water straight at the seals I would have liked to this a test with normal hose from all angles
Shame you compared it to the Touratech and not the SW Motech Trax which it is a direct copy of down to the locks and plastic hinges. Really surprising results, Can see a similar Chinese made Bagteck 65ltr one going on the back of my Dyna in the near future. :)
Have to say that a pressure washer is 1000x or more the amount of water pressure that would exist in the real world. Crowbar test was flawed as it is SHEAR strength that matters to the mount not the pull strength. Tossing the boxes out of the back of a car isn't exactly scientific as it really comes down to where initial impact happens. Someone was also definitely going out of their way to give the pricey box a better chance though. As for 'local' support I don't know of a single dealer that doesn't just send you back to the OEM for something like a damaged farkle, and wash their hands of the whole thing. All that being said it is good to see some form of tests being done between the pricey side and the cheap. As for me you've convinced me to buy cheaper box availible on Amazon for 1/3 the price of the other.

For about the same quantity you’d be stupid to spend 6x the price and if you did crash hard enough so the box fly off the bike the box is your least concern
A video just for entertainment nothing else. Rain is not a pressure washer. The cheap box will stay dry 100%. The 980,- box is ridiculously priced. No topbox is worth 980,-
I've seen this zedge box in India under different brand names, the 'x' is a common design feature on all of them. It looked sturdy and i gave it a serious thought before getting an Indian brand. Had i seen this review before i would have gone for it as it was far cheaper. Awesome review🎉
As always, price is not that much quality guaranted.... And why to pay 1000$ for something which u wont be that much extreme? Personaly, i buy LS2 top and side boxes and its great for much less money than BMW and TT and GIVI and Kappa....
