Bonsoir, j’ai acheté un moto-case 57 L pour Honda Africa twin adventure sport , pour le rag à installer les cylindres noir n’ont pas d’encoches comme l’indique la vidéo. Est ce normal ? Merci
No need to thank them, using tamper proof Torx was a bad idea, it’s not a common bolt and not everybody has that tool, regular Torx would have been sufficient. The paper instructions also show an included tool for their supplied bolts but the tool IS NOT included. I contacted Lone Rider and they admitted although it is shown in the picture, it’s not included. They said they would adjust the instructions accordingly. Also, mine came with 4 small cotter pins and it was not supposed to. They also admitted they weren’t supposed to be included either. Last, after trying several attempts at re-keying the lock (yes, I’m mechanically inclined) to my BMW key I was never able to get it to work. The key barrels are junk.. Seem like a well made product but instructions and key system is horrible.
Just fitted mine, very impressed with the overall fit and finish. Everything included to fit my bike makes this top case a no brainer. Only one thing to be aware of is the torque bolts for top plate are the security type whice require special T30 bit. I had one but I’m sure most people don’t. I would recommend this product to anyone thinking of purchasing. Cheers.
Not only was my Moto case three months late after they kept pushing the delivery back, but they didn’t even send me the adapter plate, the locks or the LED. The best part of it is I can’t seem to get a response via email or WhatsApp.
I have an email from a couple of months back confirming my order and telling me second batch will be deliverd around august. But on your home page it says september. Just need some clairyfication on this. Aug is still riding season, september...shure but with shippingtimes and and a late date its starting to push it to next season.

Mine is yet to arrive , as EU deliveries are later , but still......120 kph max speed with them ? You do know we install them on machines that usually go faster than that. On a daily basis.... Or is it a fail/safe in case something goes wrong and the manufacturer is excused as it already said max speed 120 kph ? ( knowing for a fact motorcycles go faster even on commutes , not to mention highway travel ) Dissapointed even before receiving it...
The MotoCase itself has a universal fit, but you need a motorcycle-specific Rack Adaptor Plates to fit it to your bike. I would like to see a video showing the instalation on a GS 1250 Adv. I want to see how the plate is installed on the rack and how looks the rack without the motocase fitted
At the moment I am struggling, I cannot. for the life of me get into work and the above video is of no use for us. I have sent numerous emails and asked for somebody to call me back as their phone line isn't open. Unless I get a satisfactory resolution unfortunately I shall be asking for a return and refund, which is a real shame as it's a fabulous looking bit of kit!!
It's easy. The plate for the 1200/1250 has a U-clamp which goes around the rear section. And the front section (nearest the pillion seat) uses a sandwich/clamp fitment. Essentially 2 bolts go through the mounting plate, through the GSA topbox rack (where you have those cut outs just behind the pillion seat) through the other plate which comes with the rack and the nuts go on the back to clamp it altogether.

I did it today, the only things that were factory missed was four nuts and they're washers, found the ones that fit the provided bolts at a local hardware store.
Et comment fitter cela sur une 1250 GS, la plaque ne s applique pas du tout sur le support...Je vais envoyer un mail sinon cela sera un retour...en plus, une attache est cassee sur le locket de fermeture..;
Thank you for using torx bolts, like on the rest of the bike! And so unlike most of the aftermarket guys, who keeps using Allen bolts for BMW gear.
The supplied torx bolts have a security feature on them. A spindle or bump in the centre. How am I supposed to tighten them?

Seem like a well made product but instructions and key system is horrible.

I am unable to figure how the rack adaptor plate fits on a BMW 1250 GSA. Am I missing parts?? Please kindly advise and illustrate.
It would be nice if the cases were modified so that the existing power connection could be used. I don't like the BMW Vario cases at all.
