Mitch, Love all your plans and progress. About your 48 COE, I have a 1948 GMC COE sitting on a 93 dodge 2500 12 valve (now car hauler). When you start on it you might consider a “steer clear” offset steering setup as it really helps with steering shaft angles and foot clearance for comfort. Best to you, George

Hey Mitch, for your COE look at Uhaul, they are selling a lot of used vans and trucks right now, they have many that have hit bridges and the bodies are torn off but the van frame is ok, many of these have the LQ9 LS engine in them, would be perfect to mate up to that rig to build the ramp.
That’s what I wanted to do but I think I missed my opportunity. All the surrounding U-Haul’s sold their gm vans. The only ones around are ford vans. I could have bought a nice gm cab and chassis last year but I wasn’t thinking. Penske is selling gm ones still so I’ve been looking at them as well. But I’ll keep looking for uhaul ones as well. Of course I wanted to see more on the Camaro quarter support you welded in. I have the same task to do and I hadn’t worked out on method. You made it look too easy….as usual. lol. Do you have Dynamic Corvette ship everything or do you pick up given all you buy?
Haha I would look stupid if I held the camera with two hands. I am pointing at stuff I’m talking about and when I hold a camera I talk with my hand too. It’s who I am 🤷♂️
I have totaled it up but it takes me a few minutes to do it every time lol. I’ll have to add them up and maybe make a video on all the ones that we have saved so far.

Chicago Corvettes will replace all the hardware with reproduction / replacements including the accel pump housing, most times the complete fuel bowls are replaced. REMOVE your original air cleaner stud - very doubtful they would return it.

The COE isn’t getting a Roadster Shop chassis?!!!!!!
Haha no I’m not putting an RS chassis under that one. That one is more of a budget built haha
@@MidYearMitch I like your idea of a flatbed/roll off kind of a hauler. The less fabrication the better.
That’s the goal. I want to focus on building vettes so I’ll do anything to speed up the truck build.

Glass bowl fuel filters have caused alot of cars to burn down.....
Didn’t you have a 62 floating around too?
Yeah I have the 60 project waiting too. That one is behind the model a project. Lots of projects haha.
