I purchased my 2022 CT5 in August 2022. Saying that my experience owning this vehicle has been a nightmare is an understatement. Here are the list of major repairs/replacements I’ve had within 2 years of owning; Engine Head Gasket, Transmission Transfer Case, entire Transmission assembly, front Seat lumbar units, steering wheel boot, interior door trim panels, O2 Sensors, and so on. All of this has been replaced within less than 2 years of owning this vehicle. I had decided to purchase my first ever car from Cadillac as the brand stood for luxury and reliability. I put my hard earned money, and that too quiet a lot of it, towards this car. If I had known what I was in for, I would’ve went for Cadillac’s competition. It’s a shame because the CT5 is a very good looking vehicle and it drives nice. However the amount of Repairs and unreliability overshadows the whole experience. Looks can be deceiving! If you’re in the market for a new luxury vehicle, I’d take a one good look at this vehicle, admire its good looks, maybe even sit in it or take some photos and then proceed to purchase a German or a Japanese competitor brand!

I WISH CADILLAC would do this to their other SUV's in the line up not just the ESCALADE! they will SELL LIKE HOT CAKES and will be able to compete with EUROPEAN BRANDS!!!!! if people want a performance SUV! CADILLAC is missing a lot of money by not offering V version of their SUV

Blackwing is a great name. Adding the alphanumeric soup to it isn't. Cadillac used to have great car names, and I wish they would stick with names instead of a jumble of letters and numbers.
@@AutoTrader nah I still like the name. those names from the past wouldn’t fit these performance oriented vehicles. El dorado, coupe deville…. Nah it wouldn’t fit with these thing. those SOUND like plushier more luxurious vehicles. These WEAPONS definitely need an almost top secret code name sound. ct5 v black wing sounds like a navy seal secret mission code name lol

Hmm yeah it's alright. Definitely a nice stealthier option compared to a lot of mainstream muscle sport cars on the road.

I’ve never owned a Cadillac. Are they reliable? Or only worth keeping during warranty?
Most people would probably choose this over the 4-door Dodge Charger, since the former has a supercharged V8 and RWD, just like the Hellcat models of the latter’s previous generation.
I just don’t understand why they don’t make the Blackwing in AWD.
