I love how this song frames this story. We are obviously meant to empathize and "be on the side of" this guy who, says some cruel things: "The booze and pills, the cheapest thrills, they mean more to me now than you do."
But, let's face it, sometimes we feel exactly the same way.

I listened to Kix a lot recently, and i love it so much.
While watching the video, i wondered what these little green creatures are. I made a theory in my head that they actually represent problems. And so when The Crooner walks into the burning building full of them only for alcohol i see this now as a metaphor. The building is his relationship with the lady, he walked in the burning building, knowing that it's full of problems and issues. And alcohol is the "kix" he was getting from relationship and once he drank all the alcohol, he left.

Small theory: So I think the girl in the video is his fiancé or wife, and they split up ( cause I think he cheated on her with the red dress girl in the vid) he develops a drinking problem ( in the video don’t get high no more ), and moves to a different town ( the town in me and mr wolf ) and becomes a small silent killer for a bit and runs into the woman in the same video who is already the killer of the town, so she seduces him just to kill him and get him out of *her* town even though he really loved her just for her to be toxic and more toxic to him and almost kills him

I remember when I was really young that i really liked this song and it was stuck in my head for a whole year. I forgot the name of the song but what I mostly remember was “I’m just not the Angel you knew”. So when I searched up that sentence on early TH-cam, it didn’t lead me to here but rather a black and white music video / short film about a cat person with two lives. One with a wife and child, the other his girlfriend. The two cat women both realized that happened, his wife moving out without his knowledge and his girlfriend kicks him out. In the end, the cat cries alone in his house.
Now that I found this song and remember the name, could anyone help me find that cat video?

My theory:
I feel that a lot of people have had theories of this character but I think I can face all of it in one go.
So here's what happened-
Mr. Wolf was a young man with no real experience that ended up falling in love and got engaged with her in what looks to be the 1930's or 1950's.
Anyway, He ended up getting an alcoholic/drug addiction along with cheating on his fiance which got him kicked out of her club.
Which leads him to leaving town with the money and alcohol that he had which is when he relocated to the town that was in me and mr. Wolf.
He meets the woman in the red dress (who would I call Red Betty since she reminds me of Red Riding Hood and Betty Boop.) He fell in love with her since they had a lot of similarities but her hunger was more than his. She was looking for thrills and he was trying hard to satisfy so he can get with her but she never let him get his kix. He would even kill for her which was shown of him killing women along with people at a party and she would even try killing him but I felt that she did not have the heart to kill someone that was so similar to herself or just straight-out pitied him like a dog in heat. After his slight killing spree, she told him that it was fun but nothing is gonna really happen and they went their separate ways individuals were stalking Mr. Wolf so he had to run away AGAIN as he was not able to get high or drunk like before along with not being able to satisfy sexual urges. He was a broken man running from the mob and even with that got a movie role that would be on a cruise ship the ended up once he finally snapped out of his sad funk.......
Where is Mr. Wolf now?
No one else..... But one man.
And that's what I think happened in the songs.
