About Anthony’s reply here; does anyone else notice something weird how different the comment sections in this channel compared to PCMusic? How are normies finding AG’s music just now? “They will try to cancel you” is such a weird thing to say like wtf
that's great! it unfortunately makes me kinda depressed that I would never be able to make something impressive (both sonically and visually to be honest)
as a Gustaf fan, I came for the video but stayed for an amazing song too! What a piece of art it is-stunning melody and an overall feeling like I've watched all of Adventure Time and completed Dark Souls in 4 minutes
A fan of both since long. can recommend A.G to anyone who hasn't heard him before. and recommend Gustaf to anyone who hasn't seen his visuals before haha. Both are amazing in their own right.
i have watched this about 20 times in the last two days. the amount of world building, aesthetic and emotion in the video and music are amazing. I feel immersed and transported. thank you
I found AG on spotify the same year my friend passed away, and started listening even heavier when I started dating the love of my life, his music has made me cry many times, but this song hits me harder than any of them! :D Makes me so happy to be alive. (this song reminds me of my childhood when fantasy based video games were a big part of my existence) they still are today, but the connection the artist makes here between that world and real life is too amazing to put into words.

I'm not sure year 2000 is the year to choose. the PS1 (which this video references a bit) came out in 1995 in NA, by year 2000 PS2 already came out. so that means year 2000 is too late. but at the same time year 2000 IS the year when 51% of households (so, the first year more than half of households had them) in the US had at least one computer. keep in mind this is the US. I'd argue for the rest of the world computers became essential in 2000s.
this is one of the most beautiful things I've seen. the music video is everything, and I love that piano outro doing that weird change of scale, very bach! ❣️
this song / mv makes me feel like I'm a knight in a medieval RPG, but then at the end I regain the collective consciousness of all my past lives (i.e. playthroughs of the game as different characters)
amazing song and video! it's hard to imagine they were made separately. the visuals and sounds are so cohesive it feels like they MUST have been produced simultaneously! immaculate vibes 10/10 no notes
This video had me bawling within seconds. The visuals and music are so infinitely astounding and emotional. I'm just so grateful to be alive in a world with art like this 💜
Can’t help but be reminded of the dYe - fantasy music vid. Both this and fantasy are fantastic songs in their own right, but both are so massively elevated by incredible music videos. There’s a clarity the videos bring to the narrative that aligns perfectly with the music.
This feels like someone took lil Timmy's first 3D animation, then sacrificed their firstborn (still Timmy (sorry Timmy)) to create a work of absolute sublimity from it. There are visuals here that completely blow my mind, using models from a defunct 3D program found on a cartridge stuck in a melted down Commodore 64.
This was a masterpiece!!! Also love the references to FF/Chrono Trigger/Xenogears(?) - just the PS1 JRPG vibe in general. Love how it takes place over thousand of years like Xenogears & Cloud Atlas. Amazed at how much story & symbolism you managed to cram into a few minutes. Very intrigued to know what called you to create this & your own personal feelings/meaning behind it.
