I was a buyer that worked with suppliers from China, with the contracts to be exclusive on my market First everything was all good, but in few months I found out that the same products was selling behind my back to my customers Had to terminate all the contracts and stop working
I know someone that provided machines to China to make baby bottles and they wouldn’t give them all the information of how they work because they would bin off there engineers and basically just copy there machine in the end that’s exactly what happened but he was pleased as he withheld tons of the IT side of the machines and some of the engineering side he was saying one day they needed a copy of a windows program (some business version or something I’m not very computer savvy) and it was going to cost not a lot but more than a normal one anyway they just went and got a bootleg version could u imagine any legit business in the west using bootleg copy’s of a windows program but apparently over there that sort of behaviour is acceptable

However due to border disputes that it started, their trade was around $100 -$120 billion just like in 2015 an increase of just 5-10% when the trade could have increased 500%. Reasons: most products are also available from other countries at even cheaper prices, due to imposed IMPORT Tariffs. Secondly, foreigner buyers are also concerned coming back and enter the PRChina, as their previous dealings and contacts with CCP officials, may be subject to possible scrutiny for taxation evasions or subject to conduct investigation ...due to some past now deemed corruption trade practices, during past dealings, with Chinese Exporters or presently purged Governmental officials.
