Personally i think sunset blush looks awesome on dark skinned people, just gorgeous! On light skinned people too but i just love the way it pops on darker skin ❤
You may need to try a cooler undertone! Maybe go to your local beauty store or salon and ask them what your skin tone and undertone is and how to find the right blush, foundation, and concealer shades!

I hate when they do “ombre” blush w 2 shades but really they’re just blending them to make a new shade. Like I wanted to see how they both looked next to each other not just make a 3rd shade.
What you did is more for a natural look,what she did was more for a fantasy one,you know for those like fantasy events etc…plus yours looks way more wearable and cute I like your technique more!

You need to make sure that the blush that has a higher position on your face is lighter than the blush on lower position so it does not make your face anatomy look weird
I thought this was a gag like you saying 'oh I could never blend my blush like thi-' and then it perfectly cuts to you blending the sunset on your cheek with a little ray of glow 💀
