Prince Rama Varma and a group of students from the Department of Music, Kerala University, sing a Ragamalika composed by Dr.M.Balamuralikrishna extolling the virtues of Hari or Lord Vishnu.
I wish I had 48 hours a day so that I can listen to this divine manifestation called Prince Rama Varma . His voice and dedication keep the spirits high.
Sir , my name is Sundari Saripalle ,native of Vizianagaram, initially I studied music under Guru Sri Sistla Satya Rajasekaram garu . Rajasekharam garu was a disciple of Sri Parupalli Ramakrishnayya pamtulu garu and studied along with Dr BMK. I am very much indebted to you for your sharing of your invaluable teaching lessons of collection of Krithis of Dr Managlampalli Balamuralikrishna , I have immensely benefited from listening to your teachings of the rare collections of the doyen's compositions from your collection on youtube. Presently we live in Melbourne, Australia . Recently in Melbourne, I had the privilege of presenting a a full length concert in tribute to Dr BMK's compositions on Nov 5th .I included in this concert Dr BMK's own compositions on Sri Tyagaraja Swami and Sri Dikshitar. The krithi of Dr BMK "Hariye gati" which I picked up from your teaching classes on youtube was immensely liked by all during my concert. I learnt this kithi from your teaching class of the same on youtube. My husband Suryanarayana Saripalle contacted Sri Srinivasamurthy garu for info regarding any Krithi composed on Sri Shyamasastri by DrBMK. In reply SriSrinivasamurthy garu sent an invaluable mangaLa slokams composed and sung by Dr BMK on Sri Syamasatri during one of his concerts. I ended my tribute concert with that mangala slokam.
