What are the best things to eat and not to eat because I got diagnosed with Crohn's when I was 11 and now I'm 13 and im still eating the bad foods for my crohns, like spices, cheese, and other such things. But my amazing mom is helping me by making baked things or buying me backed chips

youngguggy Have you and your mom look up foods that are low soluble, which means they digest easier. Stay away from spicy/greasy foods. They can cause inflammation in your gut.

Noo!! Weight Watchers is the worst! It's all highly processed meats and crap. Eat real whole foods, nothing man made. Last May I completely changed my diet to as much organic as possible strawberries, grapes, cantelope, artichokes, avocados, salad with oil and vinegar (it was the salad dressing that made me sick, not the salad). Pasture raised eggs and butter and chicken and pork. 100% grass fed pasture raised beef. For snacks I eat a healthy snack mix with peanuts, a small amount of organic dark chocolate. Coconut and fig snack squares, organic granola, I cut out sugar and drink green tea with raw honey and small amount of fresh squeezed lemon. I read labels! Absolutely no Maltodextrin!! No preservatives or additives or natural flavors which are not natural! I need to make a video, lol!

jtuno122 I eat grass fed meats and most of the foods you just mentioned on WW. I have actually lost 30 lbs this year and have stayed in remission. It forces you to eat more vegetables/fruits and such. Less red meats. It can be managed with Crohn’s if you monitor the acidity, fiber and eat good meats (unless you don’t eat meats), it can work for many people. Yes, you should make a video, you seem to have a lot of knowledge.

@@thatcrohnslife oh I'm so pleased! I was worried with the TH-cam silence that your health had taken a downturn. I'm not too bad! I have had some not so good health things but they're getting to the bottom of that. (not just crohn's now!) I feel alright atm though and no steroids in ages and I'm slim for the first time in years 😁
