So nice too see how truly fascinated you are by those new functions on the new nord! Very good video!
I really enjoyed this comparison video. Thanks a lot. Looking forward to more videos from you 🎹
Glad you enjoyed it!
Very good review Chuck....well...at least we now know why they so both expensive.
In case, the existance of a synth section in the Nord Stage 4 makes it superior to the lack of that in the Dexibell S10 - how about a comparison of the Nord Stage 4 with the new Yamaha Montage M8x?
Great comparison!
Have you compared Dexibell S10 to the NumaXPiano GT. Thanks
That would be awesome, to clarify the rumours, how the Fatar TP 400 W in the Dexibel S10 differs from that in the Studiologic Numa X 88 GT.
Hi Chuck , I have a Dexibell vivo s3 (73 keys) which I love to play . Could I ask you what make of gigbag/ case do you use when you are transporting the Dexibells . They make their own bags but they are very expensive. I was thinking of looking into getting a Nord bag. I would appreciate any advice. thanks.
I actually use a Nord GB88 for all of my keyboards (except the ones that won't fit in that bag). I've had my GB88 for about 10 years and hundreds of gigs. Its showing signs of wear but still does the job its designed for. It's an amazing bag and well worth the high price (you don't need to pay that high price though... just go to my website at www.PianoManChuck.com and ask for a quote for your zipcode). I suspect the Dexibell bags are every bit as good as the Nord bags (again, just ask for a quote at my website).
@@PianoManChuck Thank you so much for your swift and most informative reply . I actually have a chance to get one of those bags here in Ireland at a good price.I will let you know how I get on Thanks again and thanks for all your informative videos.
Definitely go for it, and let us know how it turns out for you.
Hey Chuck,I have a question....Some one told me that when you switch to Organ mode in the Dexibell, it changes the sensitivity of the keyboard so it doesn't hurt your fingers so much when you play organ patches. Is that true?
yes, it is true. organ sounds have fixed velocity
Yes its true. I even mentioned that very fact in some of my previous Nord and Dexibell videos.
@@PianoManChuck Thanks Chuck. I'm going to have to take some money out of my 401K and give you a call! I love my Studiologic SL990XP keyboard controller but when I play organ patches on my Kurzweil ME-1 rack unit it sometimes hurts. I'm going to have to upgrade.
on dexibell the efx are much editable. I think in practice they are equal
Yes, Dexibell's FX are very editable! The difference is that you need to go thru menus for the Dexibell whereas you can do everything on the fly in realtime with the Nord without menus.
I am lauging at myself. As a guy getting oder, I paused the video on the weight. Lugging these tings round to gigs is a ture !
Can Nord sounds be loaded to S10?
Nord sounds can ONLY be loaded onto Nord keyboards.
Interesting to know they're metal and weigh 44lbs, I think my Roland Fantom 8 weighs over 60 lbs.
Due to the weight, the Fantom is a great Studio board. But due to its weight, unless you're young or have roadies its a bit hard to transport and set up and tear down yourself at gigs.
