I wouldn't be surprised if Martin Li turned to a life of crime because Thanos destroyed his family, and he went insane for the past 10 years or so. And even after his families were restored, it was too late. Martin Li had become Mister Negative.

The game was much better than I expected, since I dont even like superheroes games.
My only complaint would be the lack of mobility on combat, outside the dodge and the webswing (wich is on air for the most) you walk at the speed of isaac from death space. Its a bit anticlimatic imo.
Bur everything else of the gameplay and story is just awesome.
The cinematics as well, I didnt even cringe in one. And I usually cringe at every cinematic xD

tbh i wish i wouldnt see the sinister six for this game. that was the only bad side about this game that i caugh. it feels so rushed. i think it would be better if they make the story only about the gang war. and bosses would be about crimelord themed villains. like kingpin, tombsone and mr negative. hell, maybe even hammerhead, prowler, and silvermane. with that kind of story line they could use taskmaster or any other mercenary themed villain as a real boss with a connectable story instead of a side boss with a cliche story.
and while bosses being about another villains they could build up a good motivation and foreshadowing for dr octopus and the sinister six in the cutscenes(not because i hate this one) for a sequal about them.
but again im not saying sinister six was bad in this game im just saying it was kind of unnecessary. because they had already a good story but they should not try to fill this with more good things.

woohoo. I wont compare this to Arkham games, relax. Spidey PS4 is a solid game, but the combat move and swinging animation look almost identical to previous spidey games, especially the amazing spider-man. and that is a major drawback for me. the story is solid, and i love how they intoduced miles morales here. but yeah... this game could/should be better. but who am I to criticize? I love this game :))

Gameplay could be better.
Imo he was a terrible villain and the plot was pretty forgettable until the third act began. I liked the game. I just found the plot in the first two acts very average
