Casablanca ceiling fan repair

Both the fan and light of this 15 year old Casablanca ceiling fan did not work. Casablanca wanted $106 for a new RMM circuit board, but for less than a dollar and in fewer than five minutes we identify and replace a faulty 1000 ohm resistor that is the cause of the problem.
