Absolutely beautiful. Always have goosebumps when listening to this. Nothing but Unconditional Respect for each and every man and woman who serve in our Armed Forces.
Wonderful performance by these two young marines and the musicians are marvellous. Seeing the Royal Marines Band on parade always makes me feel very proud to be British but is great to see them performing this beautiful song. Amazing. 👏👏👏👏
In times of war and in battle, the Royal Marine bandsmen and women are stretcher bearers. So even as talented musicians, they still have do their duty.
Makes me proud to be british. Try and find them playing brothers in arms by dire straights. Played by soldiers for soldiers and if it doesn't make you cry you are not human.
People say they are just a military band, but our Marines are one of the most highly trained people in our forces. Just so happens they are also musically talented. 🎼 so proud to be British.
I'm ex Army, but hats off to the bootnecks. They are the best military musicians probably in the world. I suggest you watch them performing the theme to Gladiator. It will blow you away.
Our Armed Forces make us Brits so proud to be British. HM Royal Marines band are just the best in the world. You should watch and listen to one of our British Patriotic songs done by HM Royal Marines band called " I VOW TO THEE MY COUNTRY ", It is incredible and filmed so unbelievably it also is very emotional for us British Patriotic citizens. 💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🏴💙💛🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
SUGGESTION: If you like this but haven't seen 'The Bands of HM Royal Marines Gladiator' you are missing a treat! They are at Royal Horse Guards Parade Ground, London, after a long day and at the end of their 'Beating Retreat' Ceremony, when they begin to play the theme from Gladiator.
You need to watch them singing I vow to thee my country,It’s these two and a drummer just singing in the mist it’s beautiful.Royal Marines singing I vow to thee my country.
Have you seen Gladiator Hans Zimmer The Bands of HM The Royal Marines its chilling with the marching, drums, trumpets etc It was done at Horseguards as part of their annual beating retreat
You should look up the complete concert and see it performed there. I believe it is the annual Mountbatten Albert Hall concert from either 2019 or 2020. That year the concert was to raise money and awareness for mental health. During the performance of Sounds of Silence all kinds of people, including both Royal Marine officers and troops, kids, civilian men and women with mental issues are holding signs inicating their condition. Also, at the start, those people have their mouths taped over, symbolizing their silence about their condition. Towards the ending of the somg the ones holding signs pull the tape from their mouths symbolizing awareness and recognition of their conditions. The rest of the concert is great alsp
If you try for the band the basic requirement is that you can play two instruments and that you have compositions of your own. If accepted for training then you will learn a third instrument, plus drill, marching as a band, you will also train in NBC and as a Medic, you will spend around 3 years in training before joining one of the Royal Marine Bands.
In 1988 my school orchestra did this in the concert season that I finally got my bass clarinet. I needed a group performance for my GCSE so did this because of the bass clarinet part being very low and superb. To record it on a basic recorder we had to shut off quite a lot of the orchestra eventually. Those not playing did turned and stared at me sat bright red and puffing away with the recorder on the floor by my feet. It's very special to me. Everyone must remember the RM musicians are all music graduates and are marine combat soldiers with their own combat role.
If you know what to look for, the female Royal Marine vocalist is wearing her Afghanistan Operational Service Medal as they all trained for "other" less glamorous roles jobs than RM Bandsmen.
My daughter had the privilege of playing with them when she was at school. They are so talented, from Cabernet, dinner dances or coronations they can do it all, and they’re the real thing when it comes to armed forces.
100% out of this world. just so you know "corps" is pronounced as core so it would be "The Band Of HM Royal Marine Core" dont ask me why its spelt as corps not core
Pride doesn’t even scratch the surface. Love our men and women in the forces. ❤
Perfection, Marine musicians the best there is, ANYWHERE 🇬🇧
Listening to this made me feel proud of my country for the first time in years
We should love our country 🇬🇧
@@WilliamEvans-w4qwhy look what it has become, get out if you can.🇦🇺
There's plenty to be proud of, even if one is tone deaf, wake up.
More importantly look at the medals these are real soldiers .

Have you heard them singing "I vow to thee my country"?
Goosebumps all over beautiful rendition.
In times of war and in battle, the Royal Marine bandsmen and women are stretcher bearers. So even as talented musicians, they still have do their duty.
Not any more they're not. That roll ended years ago.
First and foremost they're Front Line Soldiers today, and musicians last.
@@philyew3617 Wrong. Take it from a serving Royal Marine Commando.
@@philyew3617
I've VERY recently read (i.e. in the last couple of weeks) that they're fully qualified field medics.
Precision, Perfection and Powerful.
Makes me tear up ...BLOODY FANTASTIC... let other nations try and beat that, Not a chance !
Makes me proud to be british. Try and find them playing brothers in arms by dire straights. Played by soldiers for soldiers and if it doesn't make you cry you are not human.

Love this song, and this version was fabulous.
My favourite song since it first came out. They've done a wonderful version ❤

Should listen to them doing brothers in arms gladiator. Stallion just a couple here of hundreds they do
If you know what to look for, the female Royal Marine vocalist is wearing her Afghanistan Operational Service Medal as they all trained for "other" less glamorous roles jobs than RM Bandsmen.
Voices of angels and would win any bar fight. Impressive!
Ich höre es so oft….und , ja weinen. Es ist so emotionell

If you liked that look up RMB playing the theme to Gladiator (Beating the Retreat).
Das ist einfach sagenhaft. I love it

Try listening to the the Flower Duet by Delibes with Hannah Smither and Kirsty Haines.
So proud of our military.❤
One two of the greatest interpretations. Great Singers and Orch..
Woww….emotions….
Her doing Brothers in Arms by Dire Straits was magical ❤
Fantastic👏👏👏👏👏👍🇬🇧
Wow!!! Beautiful
I love this song!🥰
Impressive ❤
I am surprised you have not reacted to Phil Collins " In the air tonight" one of the best drummers ever.
Perfect ❤❤
This is only one of hundreds that the hm Royal marines do
@fulton drumming you must watch Drummer from Iron MAIDEN with the Royal Marines Band
These are extremely talented musicians. One has to be highly trained. So difficult to get into. All graduates in music. This is a hard song to sing.
Wist ihr eigentlich, die Bedeutung des Liedes, was ihr da singt?
Ah the guitar!
🔥👌🏻
I'm gone, tears are streaming.
Well done again i like your vids
100% out of this world. just so you know "corps" is pronounced as core so it would be "The Band Of HM Royal Marine Core" dont ask me why its spelt as corps not core
Because it is a french word and that is how the French pronounce it. It means body.
Sam McIndoe is the female singer.
Very beautiful!!!>gives me chills
Great, great, great I love Tisch Interpretation . And I find the singer very good, but I love Sam Mcindoe.
Should have been a solo performance. The into singer (man) has an excellent voice custom made by this song.
Listen to them doing flight of the silver bird two steps from hell they are brilliant
Men and Women in uniform, you make me cry.
The word is pronounce Core, the 'P' and the 'S' are silent.
Limited comments - Great!
at 3:10 goose more
❤
Sam McIndoe a une superbe voix...
me to
Beautiful
👌🏻🤘🏻
I am x military this makes me so proud 😊
and still
....have
Amazing…
Personally I would prefer to the solo male sing it, the woman drowns outs his voice.
There's a lot more songs to listen to from the first class military band in the world
Don’t need an American muppet to tell us how good we are!
🇬🇧😍🇬🇧
Remember they are trained to kill.
Not only are they great musicians but they all have to pass the same gruelling physical induction course along with regular marines.
