    Yes, this. So tired of hearing art is useless and the humanities in general need to be cut off in favor of computer science, maths, and other stem related subjects. Yes, the world is moving towards a stem focused future but that doesn't mean arts and humanities are pointless. We may as well be robots if we're just going to code and solve equations.

    Art by definition is non essential.
