Just visited some friends in Savannah. This place is so mediocre. Vic’s on The River was AMAZING!!! The rooftop bar at the Bohemian was a great pregame spot. The views were amazing.
I will have to say it sure wasn’t like it use to be. That whole area has went down hill seems the city is really pushing the river walk area. Thanks for traveling along with us and hope you had a fantastic weekend
This was by far one of my most anticipated restaurant’s along my travels.
Sadly, it was also amongst one of the most disappointing dinning places.

We stopped there on our way home from vacation in Florida. I wasn't exactly blown away by the food!

Sometimes southern comfort food is just what you need, I bet Michelle’s grandma was a special lady!
Lucky for us we grew up around some great southern cooks. Her grandmother was a very special woman for sure.
My parents visited there many years ago! Thank you for taking us along. How were the desserts on the drive home?
It was good but definitely not like it use to be. We can all try it in Pigeon Forge when we go to Dollywood lol. Hope you guys are doing much better. November can’t come quick enough.

I think another southern restaurant besides Homecomin wouldn’t hurt. A buffet style would be great. Hope you had a great time in the mountains. We can’t wait to go back and discover more. Have a fantastic week

We weren’t planning on shooting this for a video so I had left my Tri pod in the car. That’s why we showed the food and the one thing we wanted to try together was the chicken and dumplings. It was good just not as good as the buffet it used to be. Thanks for traveling along on this quick pit stop.

I must say I miss good ol Southern cooking. My mom and especially my grandmother used to make the old fashioned southern cooking. Everything looked delicious! Good choices, I must say, I would’ve been indecisive when it came to sweet potatoes, which I absolutely adore! Todd and Michelle, do you remember stewed tomatoes? I can remember my grandmother made them, but that’s one side dish I don’t see anymore at all!

Michelle’s grandmother was an absolutely fantastic southern cook. Never measured anything and it was always so good. We love stewed tomatoes over rice. Michelle makes it once in awhile with fried pork chops. Southern food when cooked right can’t be bit. We hope you have a wonderful week and thank you so much for traveling along with us.

It was a great time but so much has changed. We definitely prefer the Buffet version and Savannah just wasn’t the same. Hope your weekend has gone great
We ate here in the late 90's, when it was a buffet. At that time we had to line up EARLEY to get a return time to eat. I seen Michelle got her ketchup.👍😊 Thanks for sharing 🤗

Fantastic. The Broccoli and Mac&Cheese were my favorite along with the fried chicken. That cake was fantastic in the way home. Safe travels on your upcoming trip and we hope our travels cross to say hello.

My sister and I had lunch there in June 2023. If you like catfish, it's amazing! The crust seems like it has panko flaky crumbs in it. A big thumbs-up for it and the delicious mac n cheese! Well, to me, everything tasted fantastic, but those two really stood ot! I live about an hour away, and though close parking is hard to find, the food served is worth the 3-4 block noon-time walk.
It was good just not the same as the first time we went with the buffet which we really enjoyed. We do want to stop agin and maybe give there quick service a try. At least parking a couple of blocks helps you walk off some of your dinner lol. Thanks for traveling along and we hope you have had a fantastic week

She has several restaurants still open. We stopped for lunch to see what had changed. The food was good but preferred the buffet the first time. The Mac&Cheese was fantastic. Thanks for traveling along with us..
