There is a fan theory that Eda the owl lady is Stan Pine's ex wife. It's given credibility by the fact that amphibia, owlhouse, and gravityfalls share a multiverse (the humans are all from the same earth...)
Thank titan you uploaded it anyway because those 10K likes were taking a long time. XD And the fact that this episode is also considered the weakest as well, means that you're in for a ride, this series.
0:48: And the fact that Nux is gonna see this out of context when he re-watches his reaction. XD
38:45: This line right here
Wasnt the body swap one concidered the weakest?
@@eisflamme2438 Yup. But I don't really see it. I think it was pretty funny.
OMG YOU'RE GONNA LOVE THIS SHOW
7:37- just now noticed some foreshadowing. From the 2nd episode. After the series ended.
Yep. Coming back to this one after season 3 is a trip on multiple levels.
If he thinks this is dark, I can't wait to see what his reaction to the main antagonist will be
"betrayed by my own accessories"
Make up starts melting
28:20 Billy Kametz. May he rest in peace.
Twitter: "Oh no, Nux starts reacting to something we like."
Me: "LET'S F*CKING GO!"
god the vibe of this show changes so much just in season 1, ive forgotten how this was in early episodes.
course episodes 3 - 5 is when that vibe starts to change in my opinion
I'm shocked you did this. The first episode only has about 8,000 likes at the moment.
The show is just that good.
Nux, you do a suspiciously good impression of herbert...
Awww man. Since Nux is watching it I guess I HAVE to watch it again… a shame for sure
Fun Fact: According to Dana Terrace, the Boiling Isles is roughly the same size as the US state of Vermont.
Plot twist its just Vermont
@@sethisevilone02 Vermont is just a giant dead titan
I just love the fact that its clearly a fan in the tweet, same wording, so fast, but i fits the quota and keeps the bit going
"twitter canceled me" in first 30 seconds lets go
Oh please the trauma hasn't even been added yet
I love the editor put Hooty at the start and can't wait for episode 3 nux
thank you.
This is one of the darkest children shows out their. Your in for a ride
It's crazy that the second episode story structure is the very story structure for the whole show
The moment where the rug gets pulled out from under "our hero" calling forward to a certain climactic -face- /identity reveal, bro you're onto something here!
The teen prince of Angstmore and his adorable animal companion...
"I want an old Interdimension space burrito"
Looks at belos and the collector "well your not wrong"
This show gets crazy intense and is very legit. People might be upset that you're watching or whatever, for some dumb reason or another, but I think plenty of fans are glad to see someone else enjoying and appreciating it. You're not bashing something we love, you're enthusiastic and giving it a chance. Coming to enjoy something we love. That's the best. We went on our own journeys with this show, and now we get to be here to go through the craziness with you. I'm loving it~ Looking forward to continuing!
…the bad guy is coming but it’s not a dorito…
It’s worse
(Or better depending on the type of psychotic you’re going for lmao)
If I had to make a half assed comparison, the dorito was like Kefka, and this show's villain is like Sephiroth.
I hope you continue to do this series, I watched it in its entirety recently and it was really good! (It also gets way darker later, trust me, you'll love it! 😁)
"there is no way it can maintain this level of peak"
oh you sweet summer child, you have seen nothing yet.
I have a bad fever atm an i cried multiple times watching these first two episodes back to back im blaming it on the fever lol but the writting an your commentary plus that feeling you get when someone else is experiencing a media you love for the first time all hit me like a sack of bricks
This is the episode that made me ride or die for this show, the great writing, the theme, the message, and so so SO many sneaky under cuts and geek call backs for one example the edge lord dude at 30:35 ptsd triggered
“Do you think love can bloom on the battlefield?” A metal gear solid reference made by a Fing traitor right before she stabs you in the fing back.
When I first heard him say that in the show, a ton of emotional bricks. I know the kind of writers I’m dealing with and I’m in for it all
The owl house is dark, brother you have no idea,
Yet!
I’m so happy that you’re watching more owl house!
Kippo is another TRIP! my daughter watched that one first , then amphibia, and now shes finishing owl house. Iv watched already too much myself and w my older son already lol
After watching your first reaction I had to go back and watch it again. When I last did they only had the first season so it was nice to binge 3 of them.
I've never heard of this guy before I saw his owl house videos and he seems chill enough, the fuck is the history for people to hate that he's even watching the show?
They always say "he makes porn jokes every 5 seconds" when it rarely happens
I'm so glad you are continuing I was going to re-watch it myself since my 6-year-old daughter is almost done with it LOL took about a year after introducing the show to her before she appreciated the first episode and now she has bindge watched it! ♡ success!
I have been craving watching this again and being able to see nux react to it is my favorite thing
The main character is an otter… with a dark side. It maintained.
Oh, sweet, innocent Nux, this isn't even close to the dark parts yet. Just wait till the season finally.😅
Oh boy......
Ohh boy
Ohhhh boy...
This is definitely disney channels darkest show
And it has one of the best romances ive ever seen
yo i can tell you now, it gets darker. this is literally only the tip of the giant ice burg.
Keep it coming dawg!!!
I like that, in a way, this episode directly contradicts the last one. Episode 1 is all about how fantasy is good and you shouldn't be ashamed of it, while this one is about how reality is good and you shouldn't lose yourself in fantasy.
One of the best cartoons in recent years. Enjoy this absolutely insane ride, my man!
Well, most of season 1 is fillers, explaining charactercs and building a world, the hardcore fun starts at the end of season 1 and goes hard to the end
Only been 6 hours but pump the numbers up, I've never seen this show either but It's hitting Gravity Falls/Adventure Time notes and I'm loving the watchalong
