I came across a family that LOVES Halloween and keeps 6 of those huge (12 ft ones I believe) in their rather small front yard year round. They tower over the house as well lol💀💀💀💀💀💀😂

The Joann skeletons are sticker-expensive but they are out so early that by the time it’s October they’re 50-60% off.
Honestly all of the holiday stuff is like that, the price is expensive because by the time people actually buy it, it’s on a deep enough sale for a more reasonable price.
Fun fact, the home depot skeleton skull has provisions for motion components. If you take it apart, you can remove the screw that stops the jaw from moving.
The flower background of all the skeletons is really nice. ❤

Target sells the exact skeleton as Joann's, but for $40!
And for $5 more, you can get a skeleton that lights up green, in the eyes and ribcage, also from Target! :)
the target one is my favorite! i put him in my car’s passenger seat and flip the lights on at night :)

Someone in my area has a display of a tiki bar with a bartender, customers and a couple dancing, all skeletons. The six-pack makes this doable. Dang it...

At the end of the holiday, if they have any left, Joan's usually has a 30-50% off sale on all Halloween items.
That is great to know because they are rather pricey, but I really did love the skeleton form Joann’s.

I was in Joann's yesterday, all Halloween was 40% off. Online as well. $60 is still steep, but better than $100!
Actually they do the 50% off before the end of the season. They are a rip off. Their 50% is regular price. Michaels does this too but not as bad as Joann Fabrics.
Thank you for doing this! I've been trying to find a comparison between all of these. Also just as an aside, the Joanne's skeleton is typically 40% off with a 20% off coupon on top of that, so they can usually be had for $50. I know you were trying to compare the retail, but in case anyone didn't click through the links just passing that along!

The one from Joann is a Crazy Bonez Pose-N-Stay. They are available from Target for $40 and with LED eyes for $45. Other retailers also sell them from time to time. Color can vary. There is also a talking version available as well. Amazon had him a few months ago for the bargain basement price of $50. You can also buy just the talking head for about $20 to use on your Crazy Bonez skeleton. We have probably 40 skeletons and the CB is definitely my favorite for most things.
Home Depot also has a pitted skeleton that is nice too. Little scarier looking like the decayed skelly.

@@njdotson I would say no one pays full price at Joann, but I’ve seen people pay full price! Right now anyone could buy it there for $48.
You need to get ultra poseable from Home Depot
I just wish ONE store would sell a skeleton of true Human height. 5'6" to 6ft tall they are all either 5 foot or under or 7 foot tall or taller .. I don't get their logic , or lack of.

this is majorly helpful, have you seen the Home Depot ultra poseables?
Tip # 1 - spray them (whatever model you buy) with Matte finish clearcoat lacquer. It significantly slows deterioration of “factory” finishes. My Home Depot 6-pack is soon to be in year 3 of outdoor use, and they still look new.

As a big fan of skeletons, I greatly appreciate this! I could never afford to have them all in one place like this, and it's much easier to compare. That decayed Home D is A-MAZING! Gotta go get some, while I still wait for a 12-footer. GREAT JOB!

Because the price was so much at JoAnns I hadn’t really looked at their skellies, but now that I see how well made they are, I may have to get one. I really love the way they look and I like to have a few main skellies in special highlighted roles in my yard with the cheaper HD six-in-a-box ones as background players, so I don’t mind paying a bit more for a guy so handsome!

10:27 another difference is the spine and length of the rib cage of the JoAnn (also at 12:16). I do like that the plastic is sturdier.

Trust me, that Home Depot one is a tad odd, I like the color and feel of the skeleton but it’s teeth are oddly shaped and too small
The teeth on the others look cartoonish and like strange blobs.

No ultra posable or pitted from HD? one thing I like about the bat is the on off button for the eyes rather than the sliding switch. Much easier to operate!

You forgot one from Home Depot. The one that has light up eyes for $39.99 that one is the best of them all.. The fingers move the toes move the eyes light up the head moves...just a great skeleton for the price.

The standard skeleton is 5 feet tall so there’s very little variation between any of the skeletons

Agreed on Home Depot skeletons being the best bang for your buck. Going shopping Sunday night to get skeletons for future DIY projects/scenes. Also love the HD skeleton that look like they're still rotting. Awesome look!!!

Get a Ender 3 pro 3d printer for $125 and print urself a ribcage.....take u about a week to figure out a 3d printer.....AWESOME HOBBY HELPER!

Home Depot for the win again. I have all their line and love them. However, that ball joint does break if you are not careful. I learned that the hard way. Broke two. 😢 Thanks for you honest review .

as someone who has wanted to have a year round skeleton decoration in my home, this is a dearly needed review. i work at spirit every season and have yet to use my employee discount to get one of the skeletons (30% off!!) but i might head on over to home depot. although i still want the posable $100 spirit halloween skeleton

Thank your for the overall review. You need to pickup the ultra-poseable skeleton from Home Depot. For just $40 (if you can find one) they are a whole new level in skeleton design for decorations.
HELLO Please make mud dry lock angels (near life size) for CHRISTMAS or if there is another way you can think of to make beautiful angels. I love the ones in Rockefeller Center. I have tried to think of a way to make beautiful angels for so many years.

I love the skeletons, it's fun dressing them up with clothes the most that gives these skeletons personality.
2:10 it's a bit of a shame, seems as if in one of the many Chinese factories these bucky skeletons were made made a bit of a mistake, the jaw mold seemed to have complete shrank due to some accident possibly. I have a few of these exact bucky skulls from the early 2000s and the jaws are the right size for these skulls, it's very strange
Interesting and spooky cool vid. I bought the At Home Skeleton last year and I still have it. There is an orange skeleton at Party City that is activated with blacklight and they have some other skeletons too and I wonder if they would be better. I was also just thinking with the skeletons that have hearth joints could they be replaced with ball joints.

Thanks for the comparison! I think I'm going to try to find some at JOANN. They always have an inflated "retail price" on them, then offer 40% off. If you wait for a 25% off coupon, that gets them down to $45...not horrible.
