I cant thank you enough. My clutch was all out of whack and my r-100 was hardly driveable. After watching this I checked my throwout bolt and it was totally loose. I did the adjustment as you illustrate and fixed it perfect! Thanks!

I installed a new clutch cable on my R100 and bike wouldn't shift into gear based upon my way. Watched your video, made some minor adjustments and bike shifts great now. Thank you for posting.

I'm thinking that maybe you were holding the flat steel 201mm tool the wrong way end to end. It seems the curved end should go around the barrel at the throw out bearing lever.

Give that a try. The total length of the tool is 201 mm.

What if doing all this the lever is still stiff and feels very difficult to pull lever in?

Disassemble, clean, and lube everything. Start with clutch lever at handlebar, then clean and lube clutch cable. Throwout arm at back of transmission - take it off. Now you can remove, clean, and lube the throwout rod (clutch rod). Caution! You must understand how to replace/install the clutch rod felt seal. The felt seal can be cleaned, saturated with grease, and reinstalled. Replace throwout arm. Adjust as described.

Thanks for reply. I think this is beyond my skill set but I’ll hopefully find some one who can fix . I have new cable and it’s set to right distance but it’s difficult to to pull in lever feels very stiff.

It really effects being able to select neutral. Slight turns in adjuster can make neural lock out.

Thanks for your helpful video. Can you please tell me where you buy the Jeff Trapp clutch adjust tool. Is it available on line? Thanks.

If you are going to the trouble of creating a quality tutorial video …
Do take the time to clean up the workspace floor and background …

Point well taken. I am usually working on two or three bikes; have parts and tools scattered about. I am a one-man shop and not a professional video studio. Sorry about the poor quality video.
