I can understand that a manufacturer would opt for a lowest common denominator configuration but perhaps in the future offer a range of choices when economies of scale or market penetration develops. An interesting observation nevertheless and it always pleases me that on this channel intelligent and civil debate is the norm.
As far as I know, the Bluetooth controller of the Smart Robots set also has a DC socket for connecting a power supply (9 V DC), for example - so everyone has the option of tinkering with any other power supply. The battery box for a 9-volt block battery is simply a basis for a power source that is very widespread on the market. Soviel ich weiß, hat der Bluetooth-Controller des Smart Robots-Sets auch eine DC Buchse zum Anschluss von beispielsweise einem Netzteil (9 V DC) - damit hat jeder auch die Möglichkeit, eine beliebige andere Stromversorgung zu basteln. Das Batteriekästchen für eine 9-Volt-Blockbatterie ist halt einfach nur eine Basis für eine sehr weit am Markt verbreitete Stromquelle.

@@PeterPernsteiner das stimmt wohl, für Messgerät prima geringer. Ich würde dennoch ein eingebauten Lipo mit USB-C bevorzugen.
