I concur with you 110%. Disabling HDR and game mode has made my picture quality go sky rocket high. Thanks for solidifying my sentiment on this topic, sir.
Has anyone noticed that on the Xbox series x the input lag feels the same whether your in game mode or not and I think it’s due to a feature called dynamic latency input. I have to say I have the Samsung s95c and the game mode looks incredible and can’t really tell the difference between game mode and not game mode which is a win win
Tell you the truth on the "Hisense u8k" HDR theater "picture mode" does look better then "HDR game" a I turned "HDR" off a the picture popped 😮 thanks 👍
Q...Can you please put out your best settings for "Non Game" mode for my Xbox Series X on my 77" C1? I should have all your current settings up to date.
Hello. I found that when I have 120 hz on the xbox, it deactivates local dimming. I don't know if I should use 60 hz on the 120 hz TCL TV. Thanks for the advice
I think u might want to consider his premium membership program. Ppl online rave about it. I know eventually u can figure out on yr own, but will take u weeks even months. Thats Coffee money well spent for time/enjoyment u cant get back.
The only problem I see is most of the time disabling “game mode” on a lot of TVs you lose VRR capabilities. VRR isn’t just for competitive gaming it is also a must have for any gamer and really helps at those lower frame rates. It is really widely used by pretty much everyone now.
Vrr has a cutoff of 40fps to 120 usually. Its purpose is to help unlocked frames look smoother. It ends up looking worse than locked 60fps with motion smoothing on. Try disabling it and you'll see quality improvements immediately
I’m confused. I’m just learning about everything. Reading the comments. Do you recommend I turn off the gaming menu on my LG C3? I also noticed your comment about 60fps. My Xbox runs a lot of games at 120hz. Should I switch it to 60hz on the Xbox? My head is spinning 😂
Hey guys Could you show me all the settings you have in the secret menu of your s95b please? to be able to have the right settings? That would be cool of you
I never use game mode on my TV actually I disabled it off the TV not to brag I'm good at most games but I'm here for the knowledge I want All my processing 😂 and we definitely need a another classic Q hdr vs SDR video
With my C1 and my high sense H9G both if I turn off game mode while playing the switch it’s unplayable the input lag is so bad playing any Mario game or whatever game on the switch is almost a full one second or more delay between inputs from when I actually hit the button to jump for example and Mario actually jumps it’s unplayable without game mode for me seems i have to use game mode
2D games like Mario Wonder are the games that need Game Mode the most. With a couple frames of lag, you have to plan your button presses way in advance, and it just does not feel good at all.
😊😅on a separate NOTE. sort of relate to Tv. MY family jUST went to get a Metta VR player. Lol first time I dont need to look at TV when in front of tV 😂 I am HOPING. My dogs do NOT freak out when I am like moving around funny lol. 😂 with a VR thingy on my head , look like moving under spills lol.
Anything wich can add huge input lag is your enemy if you are a gamer. My KS8000 outside of gaming mode has more than 100 ms and in game mode 21 ms. You are out of your mind.
Remember your pretty dumb review on Elden ring? I don’t play those types of games at all but I see why it got goty. Like bro, never review anything ever again.

Woo hoo, a gaming settings video. I haven't even watched it yet but I'm dropping a thumbs up!
Agreed. I only use game mode when playing FPS games online. Everything else, I don't use it.

This is why we show up brother✌️ Unique settings and the truth!

I agree about disabling HDR but Idk about turning off game mode. My Sonys input lag is so bad when I do that.
I bought the TCL qm8 and to be honest, I dont know which other modes use aside of game mode. Vivid?
Igame on s95b i play mostly call of duty. Do i still turn off game mode and hdr or leave them on? Thanks for your reply sir

true! game mode kills the brightness and mutes the colors. no game mode for me since long ago.
Smart man
I love your channel keep it up
I am super bummed I cannot update my Samsung s95b...I want all the smart features....but cannot use them...because afraid to update.
Please, give some great non game mode non HDR gaming settings for the S90C. Thanks in advance, Q.
What about VRR? Only works in Game Mode and Higher frames rates definitely make for a better experience
I don't use VRR. I game at 60p exclusively. Game mode Vrr looks worse than 60fps locked with motion smoothing. Especially on pc
So with this video you have HDR both turned off?
Thanks Quantum
Anytime brother
What are the best game settings for a Hisense U8K and TCL series 6 R646?

Just because your xbox is capable of 120hz doesn't mean your games support that. Very few actually do max are capped at 60.
@@Sincerity1993 Thank you
I have a really old and crappy samsung that can only display up to 1080p and has no game mode, what should I do to optimize this dinosaur?

Yeah it's definitely been a while huh?
@@Quantum_TV yeah man the TH-cam av streets need another HDR vs SDR video 💯🔥🔥
How do you enable 120hz without using game mode on a s95b?

I’m very sensitive to input lag so unfortunately this ain’t for me lol
no way I'm disabling HDR on my cheap samsung TV. Made the graphics dull, lifeless, and boring.
What Samsung. I guarantee your tv isn't set up right.

Sorry that Big Jaw line doesn’t cut . We need cozy !!!
Zero idea of what he's talking about about lol and I can also prove it!
For me its the best TV in procesing picture
