    Looks like you got enough dust and dirt out of that filter to make another load of dirt of the pond. Glad you filmed blowing it out, plus the drone shots of the dust were great!

    That’s another great 👍 job you have done there Mr Elite and I’ll bet that your really glad that you had a sealed cab on you skid steer loader cos with all that dusty dirt you’d would have got yourself covered in it and then at the very end, it was really great 👍 to see the detention pond in action, plus it would also be nice 👍 to see the grass growing in it and to see how wonderful it will be then, have a great night and see you in the next video.

    Lookin good. That dust reminds me of following trucks out to oil field locations can’t see anything but dust then almost have an oh crap moment when the dust finally clears and you almost hit something.

      Thank you! That’s what I’ve always called them but the engineer said this was a dry basin detention pond since it only holds water for a short time. He said retention ponds contain water all year. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I still sat retention pond 🤣

    I used to have an aquarium that had a higher water flow rate on its pump than those two half inch drain holes. What a (sad) joke that is. But I am sure there in an engineer who has a perfect explanation as to why it is important to keep water standing in that pond for days or weeks after every rainfall. Maybe he loves mosquitoes?

    You forgot to mention that the job was inspected and approved by Nana Lois! That’s the stamp of approval I always shoot for.
    Will they pay you to go back and seed/straw it again? Just curious.

    Man when I seen how dry and dusty that soil was my hart went out to skidsteers air filter ha.
    In the quarry when it gets super dry and the dust is bad we turn off the a30's while loading ha.
    No amount of water can keep it down, only rain.

    You know the make a air filter cover to go on the outside of it for slity dirt like this to keep your air filter from clogging up and filter it better we use them out here and they make a world of a difference on your pocket book and engine

      Try a serrated cutting edge. They work well for digging and grading.

      Thanks man! I like the kubotas if I couldn’t get a Takeuchi I would go with one of them. They are almost identical to Takeuchi just smaller. Even the svl 95 is a touch smaller than the TL12V2 Takeuchi makes the largest cabs on the market. And yes the tooth bucket is where it’s at. So much easier on the machine.     So does the pond fill up and then drain into the ground? Or does it drain into storm water drain lines or something?

      Yes it fills up then slowly drains off into the ditch outside of the pond. It just stores the properties water for a short time

    What’s price on something like this?
    How is water removed? Through ground or concrete box?

      It drains through the concrete box and out of the pipe to the ditch. I think it was around $25k

    So you go and spread talcum powder in a bowl shaped depression, with so much dust in the air you can't see where you're going, and do a nicer looking job than I can do in perfect conditions. How do you hide the RADAR and Infra-red scanners and laser beams and computers and stuff in that skid steer? 😁 Seriously, though, thanks for the entertainment, I'm sitting out a thunderstorm and not complaining, first measureable rain we've gotten on the ranch in a couple of months.
