Like A Rock is the greatest slide guitar solo in history.
I just went back and listened to "Like A Rock." Beautiful. Amazing, really.
I;m staggered. I have never seen that level of expressive command by a guitarist. Man, you were slidin' all over the joint. Thanks.
I clicked on this video specifically to hear "Slidin' the Blues". Vito is one of the best slide players I've heard (and I am always looking for slide music). Off to check out his Reverend axes.
My Great Grandfather used his Schrade Old Timer pocket knife for a slide.
I must of been under a rock,[really just stoned] only heard of Rick Vito about two months ago,and I even listened to fleetwood mac in the 70's and 80's,now I'm catching up,this guy is great
