This song definitely grows on you with every consecutive listen.
The outfit Tatiana is wearing was actually custom altered from the dress in thier video "I Speak Astronomy" by Tatiana herself; She also did her makeup in less than 30 minutes.
I was wondering why it looked familiar! 🥰
And she only did 30 minutes of makeup instead of her normal 2ish hours because she was having a massive headache that day.
If you look at the full Resurrection Fest video, there are actually times you can see her turn away from the audience and clearly be in pain.
This band has some ludicrous dedication to their craft.
I've been a headache and migraine sufferer all my life, there's nothing you could give me, monetary or otherwise, to go on a festival stage or anywhere near a festival, when I'm having a massive headache.

When you meet her she's totally different than she is onstage. Kinda petite, sweet, and pretty reserved. Also like the shirt choice(I have a captain clock shirt myself).🤘
I've noticed that in a few interviews I've seen with her, kind of like myself in a way. 😊
It´s been a while since you last reacted to Jinjer, loved it! The song is great, it just comes, out very hard and although I love this video because of the performance and the crowd, the sound is not the best. But the song really is fire. Plus you got yourself a new idea for eye make-up next time :). Try "Outlander" or "Just Another" official.

Got to see Jinjer back on November 1st at El Corazon in Seattle. Tauri when the opportunity arises get to a show. It's still a killer song. They are phenomenal live. There's some posted vids of Jinjer at El Corazon. Check em out at your perusal. And you rock.

Please take a look at LOVEBITES, they're Japanese all-female power metal band with skills and technicalities that will surely amaze you (especially if you like power metal). Their song When Destinies Align is pretty amazing with cool music video.
Despite all the criticism this concert gets, of all the ones I've watched this is probably the one where Tatiana seemed to be more comfortable on stage and it shows in all the songs. It's also the "go to" concert if someone wants to analyse her vocal performance and watch how effortlessly she does the screams. : )
Wasn't this the concert where she had in ear issues and was in pain when wearing her in ear monitors though?
@@Shinobi_sac - I read that somewhere but I don't know where people got that information from. I've watched the whole concert several times and didn't notice any struggles on her part.

I had similar feelings about this song at first. After I watched the lyric video with the studio recording it really grew on me. Like mentioned, the audio isn't the best from this performance and there are a couple more parts with clean vocals that she didn't do live.
I will definitely check out the studio version of this song, for sure.
@@Growlizing I wasn't trying to imply that it was a bad performance. I bet this was awesome in person! Normally I prefer their live concert vids if the audio mix is good. It just took listening to the studio version for me to get a real appreciation for how good the song composition is, not their ability to play it live. It actually made me more impressed with this one afterwards.
Truthfully, I'm probably just spoiled by how well done their official live music videos are. For most other bands I'd be ecstatic to have this level of quality for a live recording.
This one would be worth a studio listen. I think this live performance is a bit muttled in the sound quality and takes away from the technicality.

Probably because my accent is messed up, have been living in the USA for the past 8 years and so its a mixture right now. 🤣🤣
The audio mix of this recording from Resurrection Fest is not the best and for me her harsh vocals are drowned by grunchiness of the music. They seem to be occupying identical frequencies and I have difficulties to understand Tatiana mostly. Tatiana fry-screams in contrast to, for instance, Angela Gossow who uses false cord screaming technique. Lena from Infected Rain does something similar as she still produces some overtones and not just white noise, which is what you hear.
Here is how "false vocal cords" are being used to produce sound - they are those shaking parts of tissue above vocal folds (with Lauren Hart as she was willing to undergo a laryngoscopy procedure) - th-cam.com/video/zy1El8U2kaA/w-d-xo.html

@@TauriReacts One of the reasons why I am pushing that singer from Vintersea so much is that she is a great subject for learning - how to produce high, mid and low growls. :-) A lot of it is about how good the singer is in acting, as well. As it can be harmful to put real emotions like anger into harsh vocals, because you are not in control. An important book that was written about it is called The Zen of Screaming, after all. :-)

Tati does not use fry vocals. She uses false chord vocals. She describes her growling vocal chords as resting above her normal vocals. The reason you can't understand her as well as Allysa is because Tati's vocals are deeper and cleaner. Yes, cleaner. Your ears aren't used to this. You're used to Angela's muddy vocals. Why do you think so many metal critics are flipping out over Tati? There is only one other female vocalist I know of who can sing as deeply and cleanly as Tati, but she doesn't do cleans and she's not backed by some of the most incredible musicians in the business.

Back in early 2000s thru middle 2000s, Rachel Heyzer was doing brutal death metal vocals for Sinister. Look up their album Creative Killings. You absolutely won’t believe it, more brutal than Angela!💪🏻🤘🏻

To be fair, Jinjer has only put out a couple albums. I literally just tonight listened to an interview with Tati where she expressed interest in mixing in some gospel
