New subbie here 👋🏽👋🏽. May I ask, how are finding the tours that you've been showcasing in your videos? I'll be in Playa next week, for a month long stay... and I'd love to do a couple food and walking tours. Your videos are quite relaxing to watch btw 😊
Hiii, thanks so much for watching! I'm not sure about Playa but I've found all my tours through Airbnb Experiences. There are tons of good ones for Mexico City. Enjoy your time in Mexico!! :))
Thanks! This one through Airbnb experiences: www.airbnb.ca/experiences/1032151?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=9c21d503-5298-47a4-8285-9d65b98a5b1a
Where in Canada you live in? I'm in Calgary Thinking about the roses part and yes, very true very cheap in México, though in Canada not the only place to get them but the place that usually is best to get flowers and I get mine is Costco, don't like that much as it's unfair competition vs the small businesses but how you get nice flowers outside the producing growing countries? It seems like it was a very nice and delicious day Good for you
The one thing I was really surprised about my recent visit to CDMX was how expensive things are; especially food. Most restaurants are the same or slightly more than in the US and even the street tacos were expensive. They are $2 a taco. I can buy them in my neighborhood for $1.50 I look at that and wonder how the average Mexican citizen who is paid in pesos can afford it.
Hm I guess because CDMX gets so many visitors that vendors know they can upcharge. Perhaps more affordable outside the more touristy areas. Locals probably have go-to spots for the best deals which maybe they don't like to share haha
The corn tortillas are brown like us but the flour tortillas are white , the taco man call the pastor with cheese in a flour tortilla "gringa" is not a derogatieve word at all when u eating tacos , señor una gringa por favor

Hi love the video ! What food tour are you on?
Thanks! This one through Airbnb experiences: www.airbnb.ca/experiences/1032151?guests=1&adults=1&s=67&unique_share_id=9c21d503-5298-47a4-8285-9d65b98a5b1a
very interesting video... what was your favorite street food that day?
That's a very hard question, haha, I honestly can't pick just one! I would say the esquites, taco at Carnitas Paty and the churros.
The Mexican fish come from tropical seas therefore is more salty than Europeans Americans or Canadians, our fish and chips taste different lol
Hi where did too book the taco and Mezcal crawl
I booked it through Airbnb Experiences. It was called "Night Tacos and Mezcal Crawl". Hope that helps!

That's still cheap, tacos are $5 each in Chicago.
