@jetsetsc - not a big place, that Fletcher's. I probably stepped on your foot or something (hopefully not, but I did a lot of bouncing about during "Leppo" after, sadly, my videotape ran out).
It's a bit tame compared to the original but enjoyable. I was disappointed by Nextdoorland, which doesn't even sound like a Soft Boys' album. Kimberley's solo stuff is worth checking out, for those who haven't. He rebounded nicely after the terrible albums that KATW made in the 90's.
No, it's the Soft Boys. They reunited in 2001-2002, first to celebrate the deluxe reissue of UM ("Underwater Moonlight's 21st birthday party"), then to record and tour in support of the "come back" album "Nextdoorland
Huh. This is a fairly obscure video so it seems rather unlikely that a clueless person might just stumble upon it accidentally while browsing or perhaps searching for something else. On the other hand, anyone who got here on PURPOSE -- because they appreciate Robyn Hitchcock or the Soft Boys -- would likely enjoy the characteristic ad libbed remarks Robyn makes at the start of this clip. So, that leaves me wondering: what brought pike606 here and, sub-question, is there something I should untag (or whatever) to avoid attracting similar attention in the future?
I saw them in SF on this tour. Brilliant.
Thank You for your presence on earth mr Robyn Hitchcock
I love how stoked Kimberly Rew was on this tour. the guy was beaming.
audible67 he was walking on sunshine, lol

Hey, I was there that night. 'Twas really great to see Kim and Robyn together.
That's my big head right in front of the camera. Great show.
Sadly more relevant than ever in 2020
The Circle Jerks cover of this tune is excellent.
Brilliant! Sounds great live!

I love Robyn Hitchcock as much as I question his wardrobe decisions.
Great song chaps!
Fabulous! Whohooooooo!
Just melodic enough to make a fine Circle Jerks cover.

My 28th birthday. Ironically, Bush started the Iraq war on my 30th birthday two years later.
Could the gentleman in the baseball cap please move his head a little

Energy - fun eh?
The longer this guy talks, the less he says.

Oh, touche! I'll give you this: while you have absolutely nothing to say, you manage to do it in remarkably few keystrokes.
Your opinion is worthless.
hahahahahaha indeed!!! very good indeed!!
