Thank you for sharing this video! I had removed my cup holder in order to access the shift release button (which I ended up having to access from underneath the shifter cover) and then it’s been a few weeks so I couldn’t remember how to get it back in.
No, the spring loaded arm that keeps tension on the cup actually broke. Then, the spring that flips the cup holder over slipped out of alignment keeping it from extending all of the way. It was just easier to replace the whole unit. Thanks
tried to remove mine but it's not budging. more pieces broke off but i was going to replace it anyway.. totally fell apart. if i could just get out the broken piece.. but i think that sliding cover is in the way? i can feel it click out of place but it won't budge.
did that part # b66920115 fit when it arrived? I was going to order one from amazon but when I checked the fitment, it says it doesn't fit my vehicle (2002 C230 Kompressor)
I purchased mine from a dealer on fleabay. Just look for part# B66920115. AKA Mercedes Benz C Class W203 Cup Holder. There are a few on there now. Or do a google search. Thanks for asking.
Couldn't you just take out the old Cup holder & basically clean it ? or w-d 40 it ? My car has this issue where the cup holder never opens when you click the button . Seems like fruit punch or something got between the crevices lol
