I know it's kind of off topic but does anyone know a good site to stream newly released tv shows online?

Great videos! Have some questions: is the brake line for the M38 similar or are major differences? What is the thread size for the weel cylinders and is it stright or convex/concave? Also for the main cylinder. Thanks!

    Excellent and clear video!
What is the size of the brakeline? 3/16?

What is the purpose of the jog forward in the brake line near the u bolt? I have seen brake lines shaped like this before, however most of the pictures I have seen of lines do not have that little jog and go straight to the wheel cylinder along the back of the axle. Are there any technical drawings showing the brake line routings?

The bends in the lines add flexibility to the line itself. The axles and springs are moving and flexing constantly during operation. I straight line would be more rigid and prone to cracking or breaking under stress. Great question, and I was pondering that same thing myself👍

What is the torque specs for the cover bolts? Can’t find it anywhere!

    • @TeamG503

James Oleniacz the manual doesn’t not specify this, however from my understanding, it is for a 5/16 -18x 3/4 bolt the spec is 13-16 foot pounds. I used this spec. You don’t want to crush the gasket, you want to make a seal evenly. Work the bolts like a clock, 12, 6, 9, 3, then consecutively until all are finished. My differentials do no leak using this spec. Make sure you use a sealant such as permetex #2 or equivalent on the gasket.

Where did you buy the Brake line clamps for the axle tube? Can't seem to locate them. Thanks

Denis Allen they are hard to find!!! Those came from Ron Fitzpatrick Jeep Parts, but that was months ago. No manufacturer that I know of is currently producing them. You may try EBay. They come up from time to time.

@@TeamG503 Thanks Scott for the reply. I did find some on a Swedish website, maybe Ron could get some from the same manufacturer. www.classicjeepparts.com/en/brakes/brake-line-clips-set.html. I always look forward to watching your videos and the great tips you give. Keep them coming. :)
