I always love how impressed Adam is with foam builds. He really needs to build a project out of foam. I'm sure everyone here would love to see it. With Evil Ted overseeing it and visiting to see the progress until it's done.
The fact that such intricate armor caught Adam’s attention shows how the smallest details can make a huge impact. The materials, textures, and techniques used in prop-making are often what make the difference between a good piece and a great one.
Evil Ted is a genius of costume design and foam work, a real artist. One tip about the magnets, yes standard CA glue is too brittle , and using kicker makes it worse , let it air dry, but if you use Gorilla brand it has a flex agent in it and you will have a hard time removing the magnet as long as the surface is prepped and cleaned. Your mileage may vary.
Ran around all weekend at Blizzcon with Ted when he debuted this. It never got old watching people react to this build. It was so impressive because they didn’t even care it wasn’t a Blizzard character. So great to see his incredible work being shown off here!
A cool new years project would be , Adam, Evil Ted and other cosplayers putting their body mannequin into a box each . Then having to secret santa a costume for the random box (person) they have chosen .
@EvilTedSmith oh its gotten me everytime! weither i didnt have the best paint job or had to leave a prop at home. or waiting on something specific to be mailed and its tolate to use it. its just a funny on going joke with me and all my cosplayer friends. everyone does it aka the "traditon" ;).
Merry Christmas to you and your family. May your troubles be less and your blessings be more and nothing but happiness come through your door I wish I could be a member but times as they are don't allow me.😢

I know I said it before, but it's worth repeating, you two are awesome together. Please keep doing these.
I feel the same!

I'm working on that.
They're actually cosplaying as each other.
I learned a TON from Evil Ted when starting off crafting with foam. Thank you Ted!
Thank you for your support and watching.
Evil Ted is amazing. His work is simply awesome.
Thank you!
That costume is very impressive for being an original character. No reference photos or video to work from, just imagination.
Yes, that's my favorite way to build.

I agree.
Adam/Evil Ted.... anyone else think they are cousins?
Definitely brothers from another mother
Adam and his evil twin.
@writerpatrick no, can't really see Ted as evil despite the name.
With Adam's mannequin in the background there are 3 of him!
So GREAT to see Evil Ted and Adam doing a video!
Thank you. He's such great guy to talk shop with.
Vampire Hunter D, wow, that brings back memories.

Yes gluing magnets is trcky. That's whay I use goop or E6000 glue from now on!
I learned how to foam from Ted and I tell people that I'm having the best time with this skill (and I owe Ted money.)
You've paid in full by making your own stuff!
@@EvilTedSmith Shiny nickel!
This video looks like Adam meeting his future self!

Thank you, buddy, It was so fun...
And now I want to play with foam, this was so good.
Yes you should start!
@EvilTedSmith already ordered some foam, thanks for the push.

GREAT IDEA
@scoobertmcruppert2915 thanks
Ted looks like Adam's older brother. (I did have my focus elsewhere at the beginning so maybe they are related. )
I know, Right. 😊😊😊 I have said that before. 👍👍
i love how their brains are delivering data faster than their mouth can process it. To me that shows the pure excitement they feel. 😁
I flet the same.
Great work sir ❤😊
2:45 The elbow horns are very 'Guyver'! Which makes sense considering Ted was on the movies!
Haha i never thought of that.
@EvilTedSmith It's like poetry .. it doesn't repeat, but it rhymes!
Have you seen The Prince Armory channel? They make and teach how to make amazing leather suits of armor.
You guys are def trying to look like eachother
Wow, that's really impressive.
Thank you.
If you're lucky enough to be invited to the cave you need to dress to impress!
Why? Adam wore a black t-shirt as well!
@ no i meant the costume, very impressive!!
That SKS Props dude is the best on doing foam costumes.
Thought I was seeing double in that thumbnail.
These remind me of how elaborate some of the samurai helmets are.
Yes, that's what inpired me.
Ok, I'm gonna have to get into foam.
Yes, join us!
That is AMAZING.. can you buy this kind of gear and if so where from and how much..
Why buy it when you can make it!
Love the videos man let's gooo!!!
Thank you!
Anyone else, while watching this, feel like they were watching Adam meet his twin from another universe?
Looks like a Chaos warrior's armor from Warhammer
Adam makes an alter ego in the lab.😂
You guys look like a made for tv movie, where you're about to discover that you're long lost brothers.
I automatically thought that the first shot is 2 Adams
true form of cosplay never plan ahead and always rush. finish last second. its tradition. lol😅😅 hasnt failed me yet hahahahHhaha
It will get you someday!

I thought it was 2 Adams for a second.
Ayy, we have some of his stuff in display where I work
Mine or Adam's?
@EvilTedSmith yours! It's Unworldly Exhibit in Layton Utah.
Merry Christmas to you and your family. May your troubles be less and your blessings be more and nothing but happiness come through your door I wish I could be a member but times as they are don't allow me.😢
You guys look like evil twins!
twins!
Now with those gloves, pickles in jars won't stand a chance! :D
i was waiting for ted to shock adam with something out of a surprise box like before 😁🤣
Adam didn't say "institutional knowledge" in this video, I'm worried.
It looks like an odd (not meant derogatory) blend of Blood Elven and Orcish armor from (World of) Warcraft.
may i suggest "strangely satisfying"
Maybe it's my monitor but it looks a bit like they're being filmed in front of a green screen.
Probably the new lighting. Separately, it'd be cool to have an Adam's Cave backdrop.
No, we are really in Adam's shop!
@@EvilTedSmith Heck yeah!
Wohoo!
can I get more, please?
🖤
🤩
Id never guess he is evil
In today's video: "how to duplicate Adam using only practical effects, with no CGI".
hi adam
Adam the point of cloning yourself is to have a young body for you. Not have as old as you and brain replicated dam it🤣
Fantasy armour tends to look cool but if it were real it's actual combat effectiveness would be quite shite. Y'all better be glad foam is light. 😂😂😂
