    I have to say, this channel has some of the highest quality tutorials Ive seen on youtube. They're applicable to many things, not just one specific case!
    Well Done!

    Thank you SO much for the excellent tutorial. PERFECT for guys like me who look at a finished build and spend MONTHS trying to figure out how the heck it was done! I'm not into just stealing peps ideas, specific designs, but I have no compunction about adopting an amazing technique like this! So nice to run into someone whom doesn't feel the need to be elitist and guard their techniques like they are a patented cure for cancer or something. Cheers!

    I'd like to see your creative process from beginning to end, say the creation of a tablescrap.

    Awesome build - the only thing that could help others follow along easier would be to add the part numbers if possible, sometimes it can be hard to find hinge pieces on BrickLink

    wow amazing techniques! the next question is how would you apply this to the modulars that you are building like the walls, and front roof area? do you place it on top of the walls with some diagonal tiles? or some pillars with plates to connect the inside of the roof to the main house? thank you! keep it up! ^_^

    how do you do this without breaking your nails? :D

    • @TonyMacaroniyt
      @TonyMacaroniyt 7 ปีที่แล้ว +18

      Us master builders have unbreakable nails, which originated in the times where cavemen built their houses out of lego, which were the first ever master builders!

    I am currently building a verdun WW1 MOC amd i have mabie trippled the size of this tent with the nazie logo on it, I dont want to say " s******a " because i know it can be found offensive. I am useing this tent design to house a lego flak-88.
    Thanks so much for the building technique, Love the channel.

    Hi there! I hope you are still checking messages for this video. I just used it to build the roof for my Leaky Cauldron and it looks great! I have two questions though. First, How do you get the tiles to stay in the little spaces on the edge? Mine keep falling out. And second, what have you done to finish the sides? I don't want to leave it open. Thank you!

    Great technique, but I have a question. Is this possible at a steeper angle? this roof is a 90 degree, square angle. is there a hinge that allows you to push the roof plates closer together to create a steeper roof?

    • @dustinrandall
      @dustinrandall 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I had the opposite question, need a steeper roof. but, for a shallower roof, say 100+ degrees instead of the 90 degree angle used here, I'd suggest skipping the last step of putting the "travis brick" layer on, and widen the angle of the hinge. Use 1x3 plates at the top instead of 1x2 to cover the gap. still working on how to do a 60 degree angle roof with this technique.

    • @brianmerritt5410
      @brianmerritt5410 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What's illegal about it? I've seen builders use a bunch of loose studs as ocean water.

    • @CaptainGrief66
      @CaptainGrief66 6 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      This is not an illegal one, it uses normal connection methods except for the tiles uset to fill the gaps.
