MUDCRUTCH was Tom and the Heartbreakers original band, different drummer, no Benmont(piano/keyboard)…MUDCRUTCH is incredible…Tom did a couple albums later in his life with MUDCRUTCH and both albums are masterpieces …check out a song “Dreams of Flying “…it’s classic Tom Petty…oh and the epic solo and main riff is by the severely underrated lead guitarist Mike Campbell.
