That injection is for cleaning the filter . You need to clean the filter with the help of the injection you can clean it 4 to 5 times .Inject clean water from one end of the filter with the help of injection this will clean the filter before installing the filter you should clean it . It is also mentioned in the Manual as well.

Like TDS level of my water is 739 before after filtration it became 727, when I asked for the refund, they stated it already mentioned in the spec. and they can't consider my request

looks like cheap ugly plastic, drinking water should not be put in colored plastic, not acceptable. , Tata group cud never make a well designed car, they r good at making ugly rough n tough trucks only.🙁
Beware ....don't ever use tata swach water purifier especially desire plus model . It have strong plasticky smell even after using for 3 months Tata uses worst plastics in their water purifiers and filter is not effective too I have a Kent water purifier which is 3 years old but still it filters better and no smell
