- Ford 427 FE engine with 496 cubes, 12:1 compression, BDS Air-Loc blower, fuel injected on alchohol! Running on the dyno this monster made 1090 horsepower and 1069 pounds of torque! Over 1000 lbs of torque at only 4000 RPM. Only running 14 pounds of boost too...
There's nothing like a supercharged engine
I love your 4-2-1 headers
Newsflash ALL HEADERS always reduce into 1 PIPE!
His starter motor has more HP than my daily driver.
Love the sound of it starting. Almost truck like
beyond awesome motor love anything that says ford on it love to hear that beast come alive and roar and whistle awesome video
That thing just plain smokes that dyno! Very fast pulls ! Ford Power !
Who sells blower intakes for FE's? Speedmaster? I'm in Australia 👍
This is so Mad Max....
That rascal would look great in my 67 Fairlane. Yep!
Naw look the best in my 78 f150
Pinto for sure.
Did you say 100# and mean 1000#'s of torque? Fun watching the pulls. That old FE has got some BEANS!
Yep. Fixed it.
Man.. My 390 would love this on top of it !
*Now that's what I'm talking about !!*
sounds nice and sweet
Sweet👍🏻👌🏻💪🏻💯
That's sweeeeet!
need that for my ford fiesta.
Finding an intake for a FE ford blower application in damn near impossible
True. Blue Thunder has not made any for quite a while now.
@@Survival427FE : Just out of sheer curiosity, what would you sell one of these for, if you had one to sell?? I have been drag racing with a 390 engine for a decade now and I have run a best of 12.08 in the quarter with my 426 FE I made from pitting a 428 crank in a 390 block and machining the tops of the pistons down and recurring the valve reliefs.
Really? I'm in New Zealand , I've got a couple
I would love to be able to actually hear the engine itself rather than the wind tunnel sound effects. Open the door and uncork those headers!!!
Ya, no shit ! None of these engine builders are smart enough to do that .
To much back ground noise
Can these motors be turbo'd? and will they hold upto the boost?.
Should be good for a decent amount. Have not done one though - FE guys tend to be pretty traditional in their builds.
Will it fit in my Ranger?
What cylinder heads were used on this engine?
CNC ported Edelbrocks. Customer already owned them from a prior nitrous combination. As a note - this engine runs in a mud drag Bronco out in Oregon, where it has reportedly won 15 out of 16 events it has competed in.
What do you think it would have done if your dyno could have held onto it? How do you think tunnel port heads would work in a setup like this?
I think the tunnel ports would have done OK, but not any better than these CNC ported traditional wedge heads. I suspect that a stouter dyno would have let us up the boost and go for maybe 1300
It's not a 427 Ford sohc Cammer, It's a top or side oiler! , Chances are with Supercharger It's a Side oiler! .
Shelby block?
What is it going into, a truck?
going into a 68 bronco

You'll need to post some video of it when its done. Nice motor!
xr7coug
oh im sure there will be some footage
That'd be sweet in my '74 Pinto wagon!
slick!
ola amigo quanto custa um kits
desses blower bds injecao.........
Pond still in business?
yes
Pond iron
That has to put one hell of a strain on the lower end with 12:1 compression.
