I truly love the story behind the bike. I have my older brothers 79 Lowrider. I was there when he bought it brand new. It sat in his shed for 23 years because he could no longer ride it.
Owned 4 shovels over the years and all you said definitely happens and more hahaha eventually I got tired of wrenching and riden and bought a victory,,no regrets to this day ,amazing machines,,
When I went to open primary, jockey shift foot clutch, and kick only on my shovel; that was the end to my electric start issues. Now that bike bike spends more time on the road and less on the rack.
Wow that sounds like the story for my current Evo softail I never got to meet the guy who owned it but I bought it from his lifelong riding friend. They quit doing starters like that in 1988.
I find some active pickups overdrive an amp with the tone but them Fishman fluence pickups in this sound great in active as well as the passive modes. I sure wish I could swing getting that guitar right now.
Bro, the total thumbnail AND title change from bike to hot girl is the most "youtube business" moment I've caught in real time. I dont think I want my channel to succeed anymore... Good content regardless and I'll watch every time. Just hate what it takes to make the numbers.
I need to take a long trip on my R1200ST next year on vacation time. One of the good things about the kingdom of Swedistan is five weeks of paid vacation time and the right to use 4 consecutive weeks sometime between june and august.
I wish the clip-on bars could go an inch higher, it's expensive to buy a whole kit to use regular bars =( With the seat on the low setting and the clip-ons at the highest setting it's comfortable enough for going far, it's just that the knee-angle gets a bit aggressive even with my 30" jeans length. When BMW named it the R1200 Sport Touring, they really meant SPORT touring! It's an awesome bike though, i think it'll stay around for the long haul!
Great video! It’s sad here in Wisconsin bike is stored in garage now since they salt brined the road’s around here the last couple weeks so no riding for me for couple months. But at least i can watch your vids and pretend I’m there too!
I was broke AF and had a '74 xlch 1000 ironhead, and the pull style stop light switch went gunny bag causing the ignition to cut out when I applied the rear brake. I managed to pull the switch apart and repair the damn thing.
Forgotten Angels is a Florida based Charity that has been making a difference for Years, and Proves Anyone can make a Difference and Inspire Change if they just Try
After 2 years me being mia I'm back !!! Losing my mom back problems moving to Ely Nevada I was wondering about this bike?? I came back just in time thanks
If anyone sees this and knows, what is the name of the small jack that Shadetree used while on the lift? The one he used the impact to raise/lower. I need one of those in my life. Thanks I’m advance.
If I win the FXR, I will fly to the US to meet you guys and then ride that bike as much as I can and make some videos about it on my TH-cam channel If I don't win it, I am happy that the money goes to Forgotten Angels.
I guess I have a backwards perspective. If I had the opportunity to on my best friends bike after him passing away I cherish that thing and I'd never let it go. If you can't separate that grief from your friend wanting you to live and enjoy their bike and in essence they're still with you if they're in joying the ride as well and they're smiling up in heaven seeing you get joy knowing you're remembering the good times. I am arrogant but I think you have it backwards my friend you were just looking at it through the wrong lens.
Forgotten Angels is the only charity I contribute to. It’s always irritated me that the leaders of “charities“ make six to seven figures. It’s plain to see that y’all believe in the work you do, and my money is actually doing the work you say it’s doing.
Hey it aint 42 yet man. Cooooome on with it. Look. Clearly you dont what you are doing with it... Call Buck and have him or Grounds Keeper Willie bring it up to GA.
Hey big fan of the channel👍👍But you couldnt be more wrong about your northern brothers because to me theres only 1 sport better than motorcycles thats snowmobiling!! You would actually be a die hard if u ever tried one... 400 hundred pound trail sleds with 185+ two stroke hp riding in what looks like a real version of a video game!!😂😂😂

You know ive got heart failer, lung cancer, cirrhosis of the liver,ect... if id have been anybody eles odds say i would have been dead a year ago, however... anyway i never looked at that in this light as i to gifted my roadking to my friend. He dosent ride now but the condition i gave him was he couldnt sell the bike that why i didnt give it to my son because he would have just saw it as money and sold it right away. I never thought that this gift couldvmake him feel bad ,especially when he told his wife he was getting the bike and he told her no thats my brothers bike and ill never sell it. I guess im gonna have to talk to him and say the moment this bike makes you feel bad do with it as you will. I sold my 71 shovel 20 years ago it was the only bike i ever named and was the one i built from the ground up ,well lots of times because i easly put a half million miles on that bike. Long story longer i fould out where the bike was and tried to by it bake. The man i sold it to died on it and 18 years latter it was still a wreck. His brother had it and he said hed never sell it because he needed to look at it every day as a way to keep his brother in his mind.
Dude, why the hell would you Raffle. off that super rare shovelhead FXR Wow. that's a rare find, buddy. I sure hope whoever wins that bike knows what it is and cherishes it forever That bike needs a thunder header, some good bars.
Do you happen to have or can find a 28 mm carburetor for a Honda clone cg250. Got the motor from Amazon on an old 78 kz200 frame lol just a small build only thing I can afford
Josh, if your Goldwing is your mechanical avatar.....it ain't looking good for you, buddy. Those 2 shovels shouldn't even be in the same state, let alone the same address.
Did you hear what you said he got me? I think she got a sugar daddy which I’ve always thought but never put in a comment. I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t know nowadays

35:50 F-Zero: Big Blue + Cammie Bay. 😅 I’m conflicted being 10 or so and 40 or so at the same time.
I truly love the story behind the bike. I have my older brothers 79 Lowrider. I was there when he bought it brand new. It sat in his shed for 23 years because he could no longer ride it.
I’m diggin’ the Interlude’s lately.
Keep’em coming.
Man, I wish you would have made more videos on the old shovel trip. I love those the most.
Owned 4 shovels over the years and all you said definitely happens and more hahaha eventually I got tired of wrenching and riden and bought a victory,,no regrets to this day ,amazing machines,,
That's a sick bike! I have a Dyna Low Rider but I want to eventually get an FXR and Road King.
When I went to open primary, jockey shift foot clutch, and kick only on my shovel; that was the end to my electric start issues. Now that bike bike spends more time on the road and less on the rack.

That journey from Portland to Tampa on the Shovel was epic. If you haven't watched it.....go watch it!
I remember seeing the video that was one heck of a trip.
Also Cammie is such a vibe, love that. 😆
Your legacy lies within the hearts & mind of the ppl who hold memories of you.
I find some active pickups overdrive an amp with the tone but them Fishman fluence pickups in this sound great in active as well as the passive modes. I sure wish I could swing getting that guitar right now.
Very cool bike. In my opinion nothing sounds better than a shovel
Not even an iron head Sportster?Either way it's gotta be close.

The bike looks like it was well loved

Just left Florida yesterday. I'm back on the cold north Michigan 😢😢....
It's kinda cool living in the dirty south. 70 degrees here in Myrtle beach today. The older i get the more i hate the cold
I moved from.florida to wisconsin. Its tooooo cold. Worst decision ever
I am in FL full time since 98, I hated driving back to NJ.
ill watch this while assembling my buddy bazos atv. lmao
I remember watching that Oregon trip. THAT was amazing! 😅
Merry Xmas too all.🎄☃️ Great channel. 👏
Everytime Shadetree says "link in the description" and its not there, you shotgun a beer. And i'm wasted right now. lol
I had a 80 low rider great bike
never broken down or leak oil
Had it for 8 years (wish I still had it) 67,000 plus miles
Great video! It’s sad here in Wisconsin bike is stored in garage now since they salt brined the road’s around here the last couple weeks so no riding for me for couple months. But at least i can watch your vids and pretend I’m there too!

You left a bruisin' '65 Panhead chopper behind. Pete W 1956 - 1977 (RIP) "Long May You Run" (Neil Young)
Good video. Brining back a shovel is good stuff. Maybe now a diaphragm for the GL1500 carb? Maybe?
Wizard Stick? Interesting. I thought, "I need that just in case." But alas, the eBay listing says only for 4 speed Harleys and I have 5 speed.

Been a minute since I've watched one of your vids. Gotta say, you're lookin pretty god damn handsome and healthy. Keep it up my man. 🎉
After 2 years me being mia I'm back !!! Losing my mom back problems moving to Ely Nevada I was wondering about this bike?? I came back just in time thanks
Your Legacy is how you effected your people and environment and how it lingers, and/or enhances the world after you're gone
I hope that my FXST leaves just half of the legacy that this FXR has. Sick ride!
That's a helluva story on both ends the best memories go unforgotten
Your existential crisis on that bike almost broke me as a man
If anyone sees this and knows, what is the name of the small jack that Shadetree used while on the lift? The one he used the impact to raise/lower. I need one of those in my life. Thanks I’m advance.
My twinkis aren't worried about any hopped up shovels lol I have 2 s&s powered twincam dynas a t111 and a t143
The ongoing hate for the California Quiet compressor is my level of spite.
What brand of gloves are you wearing, they look nice 👍
All bikes are going to run? Does that include the old Rocket 3? Do you even still have that thing?

I’m proud of you for no black nails this time
If I win the FXR, I will fly to the US to meet you guys and then ride that bike as much as I can and make some videos about it on my TH-cam channel
If I don't win it, I am happy that the money goes to Forgotten Angels.
You will not win now, not after sending that message.
But Josh, if you fix everything - what ever will you do with all the extra time? Also, that makes for too many options when deciding what to ride...
Spend the extra few bucks on a timesert kit for that head. It’s easier too
Whats a wizard stick?
Great Words & Bike 👍😊
How many times have your heard, "if Harley revived the FXR, it could save the brand..."? They are literally sitting on a goldmine.
Great video thank you
