Dang shadetree, my bad. Thought for sure that raptor petcock would work. Hard to tell size from vid but sure looked the same. I have those petcocks on several bikes to get rid of the vacuum petcock.Been running one on my klr for years. Hang onto it. It won’t go to waste. You can use it on something else in your inventory.
Dude! That is the mother of all diesels for sound! You NEED to straight pipe it!! Seriously. My neighbor built a 12V71 Detroit, and the entire neighborhood cheered when he got it running, and everyone loved it every day he drove it, and it was straight piped. Rule community with gearheads, but still!
I loved my 1980s V Four Sabre V45 (698cc). It made awesome horsepower. I can't imagine what that ST1000 makes. That was the ultimate Sport Touring bike in it's day. I was hoping your RV made it to Oregon. I know you always carry your tools.
I owned an "82" V45 Honda Sabre , it was real fun and gave me an awesome chest work out every time I rode it . I swapped it for a 450 Night Hawk , and I still have it .
You stole that RV...owned a 2000 38' Monaco Windsor diesel pusher..lots of fun...and lots of money, since I wasn't as good as you repairing issues....thanks for sharing!👍🤘♥️
Josh that motor home is badass bud. According to the Post Office my shovel head shirt is supposed to be here Saturday can’t wait. Have fun take care and ride safe. Forget I wanted to mention since I got my other shirts 2 people said they also follow you here in Maryland. It was the old school black and white Shade tree shirt. I am not saying it’s only 3 of us here just letting you know in one day 2 people gave you a shout.
Ah, the FORBIDDEN JELLY! At least 3 times a week I look down at my hands in the workshop and find a random blob or viscous red goo and have to wonder "Lube or blood? Have I made a mess AGAIN or am I bleeding AGAIN?" 🤦🏻♂️🤣 It's pretty much a coin toss 🤷🏻♂️
Love the maniac metal-mouth smiley face of the ST dash. (ST in Europe was called the Pan European. I believe - ready to be proved wrong - when the Wing took off in 'Murica, Honda built the ST as their European tourer, more suited to our twistier roads & tighter turns, mountain pass hairpins etc)
Does Chey not like being on camera anymore, aside from livestreams? It's a bummer that she seems to have vanished and/or be hiding now. I enjoyed her videos and your joint banter.
It's crazy watching this with surround sound. I see Cammie on the left, hear her in the middle. I see Josh in the middle and hear him on the right while Jason is sitting to the right but hear him all on the left.
Subbed for the most excellent rants! Hydraulic hose isn't that expensive so pull the shadetree move and build that line yourself. Surely Yourube has a video on how to replace it somewhere lmbo
I like bikes ! , I've got a Single , Parallel Twin ,V-Twin and a sporty 4 Cylinder and must say my Single is just Pure Fun ! , but alas I've got to get My V - Twin out to ride with my Bro , come to think of it to V's make a W 😎. in the Wind Baby ! , if I can ever get off work . Living down near the Cali . / Oregon border.
Take out the hose, and take it to any hydraulic hose outlet...(industrial), and they can make a custom piece that replaces it. The RV people didn't make it... they bought it.
🌿 REGARDING THE HYDRAULIC LINE 💥 TAKE THE LINE OFF AND TAKE IT TO A HYDRAULIC SHOP THAT WORKS ON JACK'S AND HYDRAULIC LINES AND THEY WILL MAKE YOU A NEW ONE IF THEY DO NOT HAVE THE PROPER FITTINGS TELL THEM TO USE THE OLD ONES AND YOU WILL SAVE A LOT OF MONEY 💲 AND TIME
The problem with old RVs is that nobody will work on them, and few RV parks will allow them. I'm not sure how the jake works on that coach, but those of us in the super-trucker community will tell you, running around town and less than 35, don't use the jake only. Brake lights only work when using the brake pedal. Keep it weird Army!
I would think a class B license would be required to operate any vehicle over 26k in weight. Also, I dig the 1980-85 Cadillac Seville headlight assemblies on it.
REGARDLESS of the incident, the camper is dope AF!!! That thing is absolutely tits. I'm looking forward to the content y'all gonna make with this beautiful Bigness. Have fun, say Hi to Chey for me, later brother.
Holy shit! Vogue was the best back in the day.. probably cost more than 4 houses when new. Want to say 350k when an average house was 50. They sell for good money in NC.. keeping my eye on them. Hopefully that one has the 2 stroke detroit.. trade ya for an badd ass evo heritage 😬
I should probably get me some merch. I don't have a t-shirt yet. Why does Harley always have to take my money for a new shirt if I can't I give it to you?
Sure you don't need any additional endorsements licenses or training to drive a 37,000 lbs. vehicle with Air brakes. Honestly if you know how to do your checks, and you know how to close off a blown can, and you know how to do basic fixes to air lines, and you know not to ride the brakes, to use the transmission and engine for stopping and look ahead say 12 seconds at 60mph that is pretty much it. Just avoid any scales. I would say the biggest thing I learned driving Semi for years is that you have to look and plan way ahead, "stay ahead of the truck" It was pretty advantageous that I had learned to fly a little bit before I learned to drive a truck. The biggest thing I would say you want to learn before you take any trips is how do a brake check because DOT or state trooper will ask you to perform a brake check. They will have you let your air build up and they will have you hold the brakes down and count and they can't lose a certain amount of air. Also what they call "caging" a brake chamber is knowledge well worth having before any trip. Depending on what state you are in, a DOT officer may ask you if you know how to "cage your brakes" to which you want to confidently say "of course" and then they will ask "in what situation would you cage your brakes" and the correct answer is when a chamber is leaking and only in an emergency to get you to the next repair station for a proper repair. I would keep a bunch of plastic air line and quick connects with me and maybe even an extra brake chamber and I would lube everything up with PB blaster every couple of days. Also with any big Truck like that keep a decent set of tools with you, grease gun, pb blaster and a Map torch.
The whole "I've been told not use the actual brakes unless I absolutely need 'em" was not a good sign. But it was a sign nonetheless, a signal of your reluctance to forestall doom with a pre-trip inspection. Pulling a trailer across the country with a 35 year old motor home what could possibly go wrong? My dad would say that there is nothing more expensive than a cheap used car. I would say, son you just bought yourself a black hole in the pavement to throw money in and never see again. You now own a wishing well in the middle of the highway, as you go faster and farther, more and more of those dollar bills are going to flutter down the road behind you like the feathers of flamingo run through the whirling propeller of an airboat. One little hydraulic line so close to home was truly a blessing and reward; this diversion can in no way be divined as punishment!
Grab your Brap Star and Shadetree Army merch here! Super limited quantities available www.brapstar.com/
Howdy Shadetree! Im local and wanted to see who makes yours tees?

Only the welfare ferries in the neighborhood cheered. The rest were too busy starving to death
Wow!! That's a nice hitch camper on wheels 👌

They don't call them " Driptroit Diesels" for nothing. Still those old two stroke diesels sound awesome!
The hotrod of trucking!
Two stroke diesels? Is that really a thing?
@@duncanjowett5575 They most certainly are. TH-cam has a decent video on how they work.
@@duncanjowett5575 2 stroke detroits are BADASS. The hotrod of trucking back in the day. Ask a driver that had one, theyll grin ear to ear.
"you need a napkin" 🤣
Josh, you and the Army are great people! I’m headed to Tampa in a few months. Would love to buy to a beer or 10!!

Love the ST1100 hondas. Once rode one a thousand miles in 2 days for a burger!! 🤣🤣
Great score 🎉
nice ride brother Shade!😎👏 if ya ever need a volunteer driver holler at me!😁✌️

Dang it I'm committed to work Saturday. Well, have a great time, we'll try again next visit!

not surprised: sketchy van breaks down. surprised: Cheylessi makes an appearance!?
Where's she been??
Does Chey not like being on camera anymore, aside from livestreams? It's a bummer that she seems to have vanished and/or be hiding now. I enjoyed her videos and your joint banter.
Yooo! The Roach series made me go out and buy my own KLR. So cool to see it again
Josh, that thing is awesome,. love the video as always.
That Motor Home is Awesome. Good Luck
I'm a Valkyrie guy, for decades now, but if anything could tempt me away, it might be an ST1100! Rode one once and it was freaking fun!
OMG this is going to be epic. and I am here for it.
I still love the Honda ST1100 and 1300 those are some of my favorite sport touring bikes I'm 6'3 they're super comfortable
Motorcycle trailer a blessing for you and a curse for the USPS😅
12.7 Detroit 60 Series engine is an awesome power plant. I own one and have nearly 2 million miles on it thus far and it is my daily driver in my job.
It's crazy watching this with surround sound. I see Cammie on the left, hear her in the middle. I see Josh in the middle and hear him on the right while Jason is sitting to the right but hear him all on the left.
I can’t believe there’s something longer than me on the property 😤 oh well second place ain’t bad!
Nice one Ellie
morning thank for the short video on the KTM at burts
lol it was like an early spring day here today, cold and wet. I bet the Florida contingent enjoyed the riding haha.
Subbed for the most excellent rants! Hydraulic hose isn't that expensive so pull the shadetree move and build that line yourself. Surely Yourube has a video on how to replace it somewhere lmbo
Can’t wait to get my shirt in the mail.
If you go that way stop in northern Illinois near Wisconsin state line....wauconda, illinois
Damn! I was hoping you were coming up to Laconia, NH bike week 😂
this channel will always be cool.
The clutch tends to engage very late in the lever travel on those bikes, so be sure you're not chasing ghosts assuming it needs more bleeding.
Wigwam on wheels and the beautiful Cammie Squaw,, no beating the tom-tom while on this trip,Big Cheif Shadetree
haha. Cammie beats the tom tom

I had a Kawasaki KE100 in 5th grade that had the same color scheme as that KLR Gen 1. What a beautiful bike.
Ya hydraulic cooling fan motor is pretty common. Just pull the hose take it to a hydraulic shop to get a new one made. And maybe an o-ring kit
My ST1100 became my daily ride by accident. Trick with ST1100 is like Goldwing. Take all the body work off before you start.
Take out the hose, and take it to any hydraulic hose outlet...(industrial), and they can make a custom piece that replaces it. The RV people didn't make it... they bought it.
You need a ductless mini split AC for that garage.
Bro your videos are amazing - 👀🔥
I still have that goldwing if you want it.
when you said the longest thing I own, my mind instantly got dirty lmao😂
If you can do the mechanicing, Amazon hose on 50th and Adamo can make any line you need.

If you cant stop quicker than an RV and tell what it is doing, you dont belong on the road!
Leave it or not toothpaste works really well too
HOWdy S-T-S & ARMY
Thanks for the Jake-Breaker HOUSE on Wheels
will you have a CB-RADIO too ???

Welcome to the reality of old rvs. If it rolls, floats, or flies rent it!
It's like heard'n cats 🤣

When do the rvstar shirts come out
I’m planning on riding up on Saturday. It is calling for rain. This is a stupid question. Are you still riding Saturday?
Don’t forget your drainfield. You would crush that with your rig.
Oh well at least you get to keep the klr for another year lol
She's a beaut' Clark.
Detroit Diesel baby! 💪
You should make a motorcycle tool roll video
🤘🤘🤘
Believe it or not toothpaste works really well too
That's what you get for trying to leave The Wang without Flex Tape!
Fuck complainers. All of your content is easy watching and always entertaining. Some of my favorite. Thanks man!
What tape was that you used on the seat @11:19?
I was i Ybor on my VFR1200, never caught up with you. I offered to Flipna ride it he declined.
Did I hear meet up in Portland?!
Where is the Shop Goblin?
What year of Sportster?

I would definitely buy a bimbo'd Cthulhu shirt from the "not a cult".

Nice squat. She is gopnik!
Spent all my money on wadka and samichi
Dont drive it with low/no power steering fluid, itll kill the pump and/or box. Rock on.
How do you stop wind noise in videos?
Dang you could have got a hydraulic line made at any napa or just about anywhere that's about the equivalent of changing oil
That bike is good for 250,000+ miles.
17:58 my friends.
😎💯👍
9:30 Where's mine?! I wanna wear some cool shit to Portland this weekend!
When will we see a cheylessi video again, thank's.
