I was at Mav's wedding at GLD😁 I can't remember the year but I think it was around 1990(?) Had a LOT of fun at da Grove. Thanks, Broadway Bob🫡

the final photo from great lakes, a video appears to have surfaced of this run , trash truck struck perrys vette mid air after start ,perry finished his wheels up run , corvair goes through fence.

I actually Crewed for Bill Maverick Golden from 1988/2002 his retirement, on East Coast drag strips close to my Maryland home, I pulled him with my Dodge A-100 Pickup Truck, There's a few videos on TH-cam with my Turquoise truck pulling him out on the starting line, There was actually Four Little Red Wagon Exhibition Wagons, And one Museum Replica that was at Don Garlits Museum, Number Four is in the a Private Mopar Museum and still exist along with Number Three that crashed and almost killed Maverick, And the Don Garlits Replica that Maverick built is it a private collection.

I didn't know there were so many wheelstanders! I had only heard of The Little Red Wagon, L.A. Dart, Back-Up Pickup, Hurst Hemi Under Glass and Chuck Poole's Chuckwagon.

The American Graffiti Challenger at 5:06 has Jack Ehrmantraut's name on the rear quarter panel. Don't know if he's driving...but he licensed the Hemi Under Glass name from Bob Riggle for a few years in the late 70s/early 80s...and campaigned a Trans Am bodied funny car with a chevy motor and called it Hemi Under Glass. Riggle wasn't happy and eventually ended that business relationship...and returned to campaigning Barracuda bodied Hemi cars himself from the late 80s until his retirement.
