That actually looks more like an Italian Greyhound. Whippets are much smaller than Greyhounds, but Italian Greyhounds are the smallest of the three. Usually Italian Greyhounds are about a foot in height compared to the Whippet whom are usually about 6 inches taller and about twice as heavy on average. Whippets also tend to have a more rounded back and are a bit thicker/more muscular.
