I have a tip I’d like to share. I juice a bag of lemons and freeze the juice in ice cube trays. Every evening before bed, while watching a show or two, hubby and I have a glass of water with ice and one lemon cube. This has been a GREAT substitute for the wine (and sometimes bourbon….true confessions) before bed. Not sure how much vitamin C that one cube provides…but, it’s far better than nothing.

As a senior, many of the medications we take dehydrate us. So, it’s more important for people who are on medication.

Sooooo true!
My son used to complain about occasional headaches when he came home from work..... he realized he was just dehydrated! Now he has a couple of reusable water bottles in his truck. No more headaches!
Really glad he figured that out! It's not surprising though, lots of people need more water too.
Warm water with lemon first thing in the morning. Helps clean the liver, flushes the system

Excellent video! Do a podcast, girl! There are many people who like podcasts better because they can listen at times when they don’t have access to a computer screen…like when they are driving or just relaxing.

😂 I loved watching this you cracked me up 🤣! It was so funny but on the serious side you are spot on most people do not drink enough water. I use to be a heavy coffee drinker till my health started spiraling out of control. I had acid reflux so there went the caffeine. I was never a water drinker till 5 yrs ago when I was diagnosed with thyroid hashimoto.now I live on water green tea hot and cold. I start every morning with 16 ounces of water i drink with taking my thyroid pill.then I have a 40 oz tumbler i take to work and drink two of them by the end of my day sometimes more but this keeps me on track making sure I’m staying hydrated good tip for others who need to be reminded how much they are consuming in a day! Hi and thanks for sending a quick question! I drink A LOT of green tea and hibiscus but lately, I've been trying to just add hot water to a few slices of ginger, lemon and a wee bit of hibiscus too, makes a great antioxidant combo! I'm even trying some savory ones with rosemary and sage since we grow it all over the farm... with a little bit of George's honey can make almost any flavor taste better (ha ha ha!). You could always raid the spice pantry and see what you could up with. Turmeric and pepper are also great to add as well, but watch out, you won't want to dye your fingers for jsut a cup of tea! Someone I worked with at a garden center died of water intoxication. So shocking.💔😢

That's an interesting idea, I would be cautious though to make sure it doesn't interfere with other issues. You might enjoy this article my.clevelandclinic.org/health/symptoms/24019-electrolyte-imbalance but I bet you have already discussed it with your health care provider!
