It's blowing my mind how healthy the plants look in nursery #3 despite some being stacked up on racks and such. I wouldn't have thought they'd be getting enough light, but obviously it's working for them! Or perhaps those were plants about to be shipped out, maybe

I am in the netherlands, but we're not allowed in these places! i wish. i'm so surprised that this even exists here, i never find these plants in the shops. gonna push them for more special plants not just the grandma houseplants that are everywhere :)
I am lucky to live in the holy country of plants. Some of these are for sale in local stores for tiny prices, or it’s for sale by local breeders on sites like ‘marktplaats’ because they take a cutting and grow them at home then sell for a small price. It’s great. Also can I just say I am impressed. Not a single brown leaf found. These people know what they are doing. Such good care!
omg let me innnnn!! im dutch and even live in the area with the most plant nurseries and bulb fields etc but never heard of these places. i wish they would open up to the public every now and then... not even to buy but to seee and be inspired and motivate the plant shops to buy these special plants!

Some of the ones I have looked into in the past do have shops open to the public on site. So I imagine they might be more open generally. I don't know how normal that is though. I haven't made it to any of them though. Maybe they do tours too. I remember being taken on a tour of a commercial nursery as a kid but don't remember where it was.

Moonkitten You aren’t allowed to go in there, unless you you are a TH-camr or a wholesaler. But we have a lot of gardencenters, like Intratuin for example.
Do you know what the black philodendron at 7:25 were? I think I have 3 of them and they don't quite look like Black Cardinals. Having no ID drives me nuts!
OMG Heaven!!!!!! Where do they ship all these gorgeous plants to? Definitely not to any nursery’s near me. That huge Philodendron 😍 all the Swiss cheese are sold out where I live.
It's crazy how Holland has cornered the market on this stuff. Not just houseplants either: trees, shrubs, bulbs etc etc. You buy a native tree in the UK and it's likely grown in Holland. That's how ash dieback came to the UK.
for those who live in NL or have been there, please reccomend me some cool places to get plants here, I only know one cool store but nowhere to get the real good stuff

How did you get access to these nurseries? Usually only businesses are allowed inside wholesaler nurseries. I’d love to be able to visit one.
