KAYLEE! GIRL!! That VARIEGATED GLORIOSUM is PERFECTION. Period. Hah! Seriously!!!!!??? OMG!!!! WOWZA BABY!!! I’ve been watching your channel for years now…I remember when you first got that Variegated BABE of a Gloriosum from the US and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed watching your collection grow! Thanks for always sharing exceptional content. I freaking love your channel! Cheers ! 🥂
I’ve been a follower for years now❤️ Your plants look amazing and set goals for me to get more but Kaylee I have some many gorgeous babies and it never seems like I have enough, how can you keep yourself from putting more into your collection?!?! Loved the tour ❤❤❤
My green on green’s old leaves are getting more vibrant too. I couldn’t say why though because it’s still relatively new. Just recently popped its first new leaf with me and it’s 😘👌
A Begonia Arthur Mallet, I would think. I had one a while back that looked like that, if maybe a bit warmer a red tone? The lower, larger leaves would be a deeper green tone and the leaves up to would be that jeweled appearance
Bonjour 😊, Vous avez beaucoup de plantes exceptionnelles, mais j'imagine qu'il y en a d'autres chez vous, dans d'autres pièces 😉. Merci pour cette petite visite ! 💚🍀
.....oooor... back to black marks thing - could be that either water, or pest spray, (maybe you haven't notices when sprayed), that large blob of water/pesticide had got formed on those places when you sprayed.. Then some sneaky sunshine lit the kitchen , and those blob of water acted like magnifying glass concentrating the sunlight into these places, leaving the burns. That could be an explanation to suddenly appeared black spots
Personally, I think the burning is probably watering. As domeone who has a room just as bright as yours, plants can still look perky because of how strong the growth comes in, but not actually have enough water, which leaves patchy burns.
I had the same problem with a baby Thai, it grows outside in the sun for a month, put in a greenhouse for the winter I didn't realize that the greenhouse exceeds 30 degrees celsius. I waited a day too long to give water and the Thai got burnt
Can you walk us through your lighting setup at some point? I can see a lot of natural light but do you supplement as well? This video is great btw and your camera work is very satisfying. The cozy vibe is really nice. Also "my name is Kaylee" made both me and my partner say out loud "WAIT A SECOND WHOA WHAT"
the browning of the white variation could be so many things! 😩 in my experience (assuming aroids are less finicky than calatheas and orchids), it could be a combination of too much nutrients and too little water. cold drafts can also contribute to the browning. but i think you already know that lmao
such a lovely scenery in your kitchen :) as for the black spots, can's suggest what it in is in your case.. :( in my - i had thrips grouped at the couple of places on edges of couple of leaves. I've placed the victim into the shower and... yeah, you guessed right, have done nothing, just watching it "drowning" while I'm taking shower , and annoying my partner with the it's presence in the said shower..lol . But I guess the high humidity and the frequent disturance by water must have evicted them as I can't see them there anymore, but the yellow sports gradually became black like these - cells died off.. But we are talking of at least couple of months long process before the blackening began.. how quickly yours developed?
@KayleeEllenOfficial Yeah, there are some pictures that show a bit of silveriness, but it may depend on the light situation I guess? Yours is more pink and has less silver (if it does have any), because of the decent it gets - maybe? I don't know. Also, your plants are beautiful 😍! I'm so jealous (mainly) of your Monstera collection!!! 😅🙃🫠
@@KayleeEllenOfficial Maurice Ameys lean more towards pink/fuchsia unless grown in fairly low light, but I only managed to get such intense color under growlights. Similarly to when you look up begonia Pink Minx - I absolutely toasted mine (it has similar hue to the begonia you have), meanwhile some of the Pink Minx pics I see online look ultra bleached/washed out pink. Has yours been in a greenhouse / exposed to extra amount of light previously and only moved onto this shelf recently?
@KayleeEllenOfficial When you got that plant the name given on the video was cherry red. Or red cherry. It was that haul Ben bought without your permission. Must be the name the grower/supplier gave for it. Can't find it in the states. I don't think it's Maurice Amey either. And that color has been consistent since you got it...and I'm assuming it has had varying levels of light in all the places it's been and still carries that intense color. I would BTW love a prop of that.
Your voice and cadence is so great, i bet you would get crazy views if you did an ASMR channel. Lol just sit in a low light room and whisper about plants or read a newspaper 😂😂
Maybe it’s the dew/water dripping from the plants above that cause the random damage spots? Happens to me if I don’t wipe the water off and the droplet just sits on the spot it landed
Is it weird or unusual that my monstera LF wants to crawl?? It’s still sizing up like crazy, though. 😅 Also, I’ve seen soooo many people experience burning like that on leaves from the diy pest sprays they are making as of late! I’m not sure what it is exactly, but it seems like 9/10 creators are dealing with that. It’s got to be a combination of specific components and possibly light? Or something because it seems to mostly be affecting new growth and variegated sections of plants.
Kaylee did something change in the formula of the fertilizer? Because the second bag I got is less foamy than the first one and I’m wondering if it’s just mine or something changed

Your plants are arranged so beautifully and they all look so healthy and gorgeous!❤
Thank you 🥰
They sure all look very happy :)
Absolutely love your channel

I totally want a begonia prop from that lovely plant.
Your plant collection is soooo stunning as always 😩 thank you for the video ! ❤
I love the wood of your shelves! What is it? It makes such a nice contrast with the dark plants
I wish you knew what that begonia is!!! It is SO wonderful 🤤
The begonia is Maurice Amey
Love! So beautiful. Do you still have Gus?
Lovely variety of leaf shapes, colors, yay!
Autumn! 🍂🇬🇧
Absolutely stunning kaylee ❤️and so are the boys 😻
No matter…they all look glorious.
They are all looking great love the monstera mint still on my wishlist
It looks like a begonia miss mummy but with great care . I wouldn’t say it’s a Maurice Amey with the veins but could be a hybrid
Ever since you showed us the monstera brazil form ... I have been trying to find one in the United States. I absolutely want one !
Bonjour 😊,
Vous avez beaucoup de plantes exceptionnelles, mais j'imagine qu'il y en a d'autres chez vous, dans d'autres pièces 😉. Merci pour cette petite visite ! 💚🍀
Absolutely stunning display. The monstera mint u wanna keep is my fav of all💚. The overall arrangement and collection is down straight 💯🙌.

Beautiful. The browning is spreading from the edges. I don't know much, but I would guess increased sunlight in autumn?

Lovely collection! 😍 how do you make the leaves so shiny?
Spathiphyllum ghost is impossible to buy! When are you going to stock more?

Anyone else crack a smile at her having begonia? I remember a time when she was so against them. lol

Waiting for full plant collection room tour
The pink begonia resembles to 'Maurice Amey' to me. 🤔
I get what you mean but I think this is the one I looked up and they all look quite silvery?? 🤔

@AndeeKiss honestly there's not a shred of silver in this plant and there never has been so I dunoooo it's weird

Its water, the black spots.
My monstera got the exact same thing afterI over watered it.
Hi! I love your thaumatophyllum african fantasy, do you sell some by any chance? 💚

Need a good fan?
beautiful plants, and i'd wager guttation dripping on other plants causing the brown spots.. happens in my collection too.
