Absolutely fantastic job ! the suspense the sounds the atmosphere and the acting is superb. Great visuals and special effects. Thank you for sharing your masterpiece with us . Lovecraft presented the way it should be and well done . I have watched this 2 times and I still find something new I missed everytime . Attention to small detail is a rarity in these types of movies in the modern age . This is a true labor of lovecraft

"Whisperer...." is possibly my favourite Lovecraft story. I've always thought it would be pretty much unfilmable- what with much of it being an exchange of letters etc., but you guys make a very good attempt at it. A labour of love I'm thinking? Well done, and thanks for making it available.

I was impressed as well. His writings were mostly first-person narrative structures that are nearly impossible to adapt to film. He was a fan of the golden age of cinema . Especially 1931's Dracula

Just getting my goups into Call of Cthulhu and stumbled across this when searching for some of the best Cthulhu flicks. I loved it. Impressive you were able to capture the feel and tone perfectly. Low budget does not mean low quality! Thanks!

Beautiful job, you have honored Lovecraft with your rendition. Atmospheric, true to the timeframe in which the story was set, emotional and expressive horror. Well done!

This was an unexpected gem, I can't believe I'm just finding it now.
I have to say you guys did amazing work on this, its right up with with the best Lovecraft interpretations I've seen.
Extremely impressed you should be proud, you nailed the atmosphere.

No problem, and seriously I should be thanking you, this is extremely well done and you absolutely nailed the atmosphere, Lovecraft stories can be hard to do right, but you were right on the money, the gradually building tension leading to Akeleys final message, and then the sense of disquiet and unease as the protagonist realizes the situation... bravo.
      Amazing work all around.

This is a fun find! Never thought I'd stumble across such a niche and earnest Lovecraft fanfilm here.
I recently discovered that the first known Lovecraft fan film adaption was from the 70s, also based upon The Whisperer in Darkness. The Lovecraft film festival are apparently putting it on their next classics dvd release.
Did you ever submit this to the Lovecraft film festival? I'm sure others will enjoy it there too.

A celebration to Lovecraft is always welcome, but I have to mention that this movie is not even comparable to the HPLHS Movie Pictures., and the story has been almost competely altered from the original.

This looks cool in black and white. The ending scenes were fun, but the whole movie is riddled with bad acting by bad actors.
