A spaceship from Potato World crashes onto an alien planet. The sole survivor: Brotato, the only potato capable of handling 6 weapons at the same time. Waiting to be rescued by his mates, Brotato must survive in this hostile environment.

It would be cool if you replayed this, forcing you to grab one "positive" item, followed by one "negative".. etc. This would make the run even more chaotic, while at the same time potentially making things more balanced.
I propose a similar thing in the next episode yeah

Revolver getting damage for every other stick is histerical
This mod would be great combined with something that increases difficulty so youre forced to find the most op combinations
It definitely grabs every modifier in the pool so mods will make things even crazier. Your infinite mod would be hilarious to see with this. Hitting random on the character selection is the way to go and only rerolling the impossible/boring combinations. Most runs can be busted eventually with this and overcoming interesting flaws is probably more fun than curb stomping. Really looking forward to what you can do with this.
There definitely needs to be a weight added to the positives and negatives of items (or at least a way to toggle it). Cuz an item that gives -80% harvesting scaling with no benefits is just dumb
Edit: I still think that even with such changes it would still remain unique as a "randomizer" mod
I'd loveeee more chaos mode this is absolutely great
i tested the mod, i got t1 item with "+24 melee dmg" another one with "2 range dmg for every 1 melee" and 3 different items who all were like "+100% dmg modifcations", i made millions of dmg at wave 10 :D that was absurd and funny

Yes, it works (so far) with other mods like violent asthetics. Also, as an idea, could try maximizing difficulty because of the potential of scaling out of control.

Hey! I originally suggested this to another Brotato person, so I'd suggest reading my comments on those videos. Here are some tips:
- BE CAREFUL WITH BELIEVERS EFFECTS: They break the game.
- A set amount of 'Chaos' effects are applied each randomization. This is why a ton of the same effects may apply.
- Weapons have up to a ton of effects, but items tend to (Tend to, within its normal effect count) keep to the amount of effects they'd originally have.
- More mods do mean more effects, some are duds (GMO_COMBINES, API_CRASH), and generally speaking if its within an effect it can apply. +2 Projectiles, +1 Bounce, -50% peirce damage, +15% Item price...
BE VERY WARNED WITH BELIEVER. It messes with EVERY stat, is possibly recursive, and I mean every stat. For every character. If you saw it happen, you'd get what I mean- DON'T TAKE THAT EFFECT WITHOUT THIS WARNING IN MIND.
- The True Infinite seeded character's effect crashes the game instantly on pickup if the run is already going.
- Negative harvesting means you can buy endlessly.
- Dropshipper's effect might crash the game, but it's been inconsistent.
-Bait is a virus. Not directly, your whole shop can become baits if you let it. Maybe that's good if the bait item is good that randomization- it sort of clogs your pool.
- GMO's item is also randomized, of course. The tag itself is useless, the item obviously exists and is randomized.
If you want a challenge:
- Take every enemy boosting stat item you can (Health, speed, damage, etc)
- In the Menu when starting up the game, set all stats (Besides speed) to max.
- Don't reroll. Ever.
Please pay attention to this! ^-^ It's important.

This was okay, I’d love to see more and see if it gets as good as the infinite mod you made. If not, well, bring back infinite!
this mode exploded the game, but it was a lot of fun before it crashed, i had a super super small map and i exploded for 30k damage. fun but way op mod
If only elemental damage per melee dropped as an effect, then it would be instant infinite haha

I tried this mod just now.... well by wave 14 i was doing trillions of damage and it took 30+ mins just to spam sell all the crates and pick random lvl ups... yeah it was painful
This mod needs a way to generate seeds, would be amazing to be able to redo someones crazy or cursed run ^^
If you really wanted to make the run harder I'm pretty sure theres a mod that allows you to increase the amount of enemies per wave and their health

Wish there was a way to have radom character and wholesaler
Next time on camera have your eyes shut, flail the mouse around and the where ever you land(on or closest) is what you use good or bad roll
Or maybe you could play it but you randomise the items you have to buy
