Nothing against your opinion but calling the beta good is incredibly generous. The matchmaking is rigged and sometimes the game just ignores your hit markers to keep your k/d to as close to 1 as possible. If you get a good game the next will be terrible. I dropped a 35 to 14 k/d in tdm and it immediately gave me a game where I dropped 9 to 26 k/d the next game. Can’t say it was a skill issue when my hit scan just blatantly fails. The maps were atrocious and the movement is incredibly gimmicky. The game is maybe a 4/10. I might play zombies and the campaign but I will not be touching the multiplayer with a 10 foot pole

it's purely content farming for no reason and just hating the game cuz new cod. the only issues are network issues and cod hq. gameplay wise there are few changes to be made but it's actually not a bad cod game at all.

Tbh the 'live service' is the only thing left to fumble IMO. That's what killed MW3 for me, which similarly had a pretty good base, but they just filled it with all kinds of nonsense post-launch that I wasn't a huge fan of.
I didn’t enjoy a single gunfight I had in Cold War, but I had the most fun with this beta since MW2019. The marketing didn’t lie when they said this game makes you feel like an action hero, because damn this game does make you feel like a badass.
Scud is a 1000x worse than Derelict. At least there is enough cover to make certain plays in Derelict. On Scud, if you spawn satellite side you have line of sight to the whole enemy side spawn with minimal cover for them to hide behind other than the trenches, which makes players just wanna camp in the trenches with a shotgun or smg. It's bad because it has very little variety in how you can actually play it, unlike maps like skyline and such where you run into all sorts of different combat engagements
Absolutely, scud is a horrible map I skipped it almost every time. Personally I thought skyline was the only good map. Rewind was not bad but I wouldn't call it good. All the rest were awful.

It feels like a WW1 game where you're stuck in trenches and can't fucking advance or fight anyone because there's no other cover to actually play. Not to mention there are fucking explosive barrels on every piece of cover as well to make the map even more insufferable.

Warhead seems to be the new Nuketown (previously listed as Sandhouse), but judging from the picture, the layout is different from regular old Nuketown, so I guess we'll have to wait and see

The gunsmith redesign and new movement system look awesome though, first time I feel like I'm missing out on something by not buying the new game and the latest one I own is cold war!

i think if the satcom wasn’t placed on the ground, ppl would agree with you the main issue was that it was deployed on the ground and was so easy to destroy if you spotted one
I love the idea of multiple Scout Pulses combing to create a team UAV similar to how SATCOMs worked, but IIRC a single SATCOM is Ghosts didn't give you a radar sweep, it only revealed players in a fog of war around you, right? That's what I mostly disliked about that system back in the day.
Worried about Gunfight. I just don’t think 3arc gets how to make a 2v2 map. They make a small 6v6 map, with flanking routes and lots of cover, when that’s not what Gunfight is. Almost every IW Gunfight map spawns you behind a tiny bit of cover, but other than that, you’re staring down your opponent right off spawn. As someone said on Twitter, BO6 Gunfight is a hide and seek mode instead of a combat mode, and I couldn’t help but agree. I didn’t realize until I read the tweet, that that’s why I didn’t like most BOCW 2v2 maps either.
It's probably that Treyarch sucks at making small maps. Their best smallest map is Nuketown which is like pretty large compared to Babylon, Shipment, and the gunfight maps

What makes SOME moments goofy in treyarch’s history involve players abusing regular mechanics in the game to do goofy things. @@Fuola it just felt like a precursor for the continuation of adding weird kiddy stuff into the game in the form of skins and bundles. I think the multiplayer is good besides the weird kill cam body physics after death, the match making for anyone over a 1 kd, and the spawns. I like the guns, the look, Omni movement, the gun class system/look, and pretty much everything else including the maps. But I won’t be getting it anyways since I also enjoy zombies equally and it’s looking like it’s lost its identity to warzone and multiplier.

When I first tried HVT. My friend immediately turned to one of our other friends and said. In our first match " Mr. President fallow me!" And that was it the joke never stopped. When we got shot at or hid to hold out it was Mr President get down. If our friend amber or kim was hvt we would be like "Mrs. President your bunker is this way." It never stopped.
@ReplayMode 100% Like I get TDM is popular. But we need more thoughtful and fun games. One of my favorites from mw3 was the parkour neon matches we had awhile ago. Where they action packed. No they where just fun and hilarious.
This beta really reinforced my distaste for TDM. I dont know of it's SBMM or the hot dog water maps we've had to put up with MW19 but holy shit TDM hasn't played well since MW19. The dog shit spawns certainly won't be helping but I stopped playing TDM and Kill Order eventually.

I think I used it 4 times and died before getting behind enemy lines each time. Gonna have to try it out more in the real game before I have a decent opinion on it. It's gonna be WILD in non-respawn modes
Stuttering be crazy on starlink internet. Completely unplayable at points because of the forced texture streaming. This game is so so fun, like you feel like you're in an action movie sliding into drop shots making it look like you slide on your back behind cover. No limitations to diving. It's so action packed and fun
I really love the tac sprint, for me its like the other way around. I dont need walking. I have Auto Sprint on and only use my shift key for the tac sprint and alt key for slow walking (Most of the time i just crouch and dont use walking at all). The only bad things in the Beta for me we're the lags (which are mostly because of my PC or the Beta Servers i guess) and the ttk which was inconsistent and a tiny little bit to long on some parts of the body. AND THAT I COULD ONLY PLAY GUNFIGHT FOR ONE FUCKING DAY
Greatly enjoyed the overview of the BO6 beta, not a fan of the negativity spouted by other COD channels that appear to be mostly reactionary. Genuinely, I think they might be a bit used to the old movement system, I suppose just the regular movement without the sliding/ lean assist? Whatever that case is, I like to see the studios attempt to do something new and with the revelation upon hearing Treyarch tries to innovate on their preceding games has resonated with me during the beta... and zombies too! Really excited for zombies, a little sad that not many are that enthusiastic with what's been up for show, but I do have high hopes and have shifted my expectations appropriately for a new zombies experience and not secretly hoping for what essentially feel like new maps for an old zombies game.
Thanks! I usually try to be as positive as I can, because at the end of the day I just like Call of Duty lol Tbh, I think Activision kinda fumbled Zombies marketing this year. Terminus looks incredible, but they only released a trailer, and that cut up footage sent out to creators. But then for Liberty Falls, the map that is a little more iffy, they had full-blown gameplay at CODNext with a bunch of non-zombies creators with EEs turned off, which left a lot of people disappointed. IMO they shouldn't have shown anything at CODNext and just left LF a mystery like zombies maps back in the day
I loved the beta can't wait for it to release in October so I can also check out zombies I feel like at this point most people in the COD community complain just because they can. But again, everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
For sure, there will ALWAYS be something to complain about, but tbh I think a lot of the complaints I see are decently small by comparison to past years

Idk why people crap on this game. It’s seriously annoying. This was the best game I’ve ever played, alongside Cold War. And I haven’t played a COD game religiously since Black Ops 2. Because all the other ones did disappoint me. So to say I’m excited for a COD release says a lot. I wasn’t ever excited for a release since MW2 09. I do agree the gunsmith is nicer, with simpler attachments that makes sense, but I do think it's a bit less intuitive in regards to where the parts are since they're laid out as a list instead of how non-treyarch games have them (muzzle attachment slot at the muzzle, magazine at the magazine). Oh and a stats screen, but you mentioned that already anyways.

I'm genuinely curious where you are hearing SBMM is now "ai based" (or that it's been changed at all from mw3). I haven't heard that claim being made anywhere

@Jamzwhamz Oh, nah, MW2 had timed perks that you needed to earn each match, and MW3 is "gear" based on what vest you choose (and OG MW2/3 was just standard 3 tiered perks). AFAIK this system is completely new for cod
i could’ve sworn i’d seen this system before but now that i look it up it wasn’t in mw3. im remembering the specialist perks from mw3 that you gained after getting killstreaks lol. edit: i was also thinking of the pro perks that you could unlock back in mw2 2009. i guess each cod has a different way of adding perks into the game. thankfully this game isn’t like ghosts lolll
We obviously played a different beta... I agree the UI is good. That's about the only positive thing I can say about it. Thanks gamepass for saving me $100 AUD.

Bro ...I tried playing MW3 today and it felt like driving a tank, omnimovement has got to stay. Imo, its as revolutionary as sliding.

Most fun I’ve had with a call of duty since WW2, I absolutely loved this so far and I hate that I love it.
This beta really reinforced my distaste for TDM. I dont know of it's SBMM or the hot dog water maps we've had to put up with MW19 but holy shit TDM hasn't played well since MW19.
The dog shit spawns certainly won't be helping but I stopped playing TDM and Kill Order eventually.

I think I used it 4 times and died before getting behind enemy lines each time. Gonna have to try it out more in the real game before I have a decent opinion on it. It's gonna be WILD in non-respawn modes

Stuttering be crazy on starlink internet. Completely unplayable at points because of the forced texture streaming. This game is so so fun, like you feel like you're in an action movie sliding into drop shots making it look like you slide on your back behind cover. No limitations to diving. It's so action packed and fun

I really love the tac sprint, for me its like the other way around. I dont need walking. I have Auto Sprint on and only use my shift key for the tac sprint and alt key for slow walking (Most of the time i just crouch and dont use walking at all). The only bad things in the Beta for me we're the lags (which are mostly because of my PC or the Beta Servers i guess) and the ttk which was inconsistent and a tiny little bit to long on some parts of the body. AND THAT I COULD ONLY PLAY GUNFIGHT FOR ONE FUCKING DAY

Greatly enjoyed the overview of the BO6 beta, not a fan of the negativity spouted by other COD channels that appear to be mostly reactionary. Genuinely, I think they might be a bit used to the old movement system, I suppose just the regular movement without the sliding/ lean assist? Whatever that case is, I like to see the studios attempt to do something new and with the revelation upon hearing Treyarch tries to innovate on their preceding games has resonated with me during the beta... and zombies too! Really excited for zombies, a little sad that not many are that enthusiastic with what's been up for show, but I do have high hopes and have shifted my expectations appropriately for a new zombies experience and not secretly hoping for what essentially feel like new maps for an old zombies game.

Tbh, I think Activision kinda fumbled Zombies marketing this year. Terminus looks incredible, but they only released a trailer, and that cut up footage sent out to creators. But then for Liberty Falls, the map that is a little more iffy, they had full-blown gameplay at CODNext with a bunch of non-zombies creators with EEs turned off, which left a lot of people disappointed.
IMO they shouldn't have shown anything at CODNext and just left LF a mystery like zombies maps back in the day
There is a little delay between walking and sprinting and that delay is just too fucking long
I loved the beta can't wait for it to release in October so I can also check out zombies I feel like at this point most people in the COD community complain just because they can. But again, everyone's entitled to their own opinion.
For sure, there will ALWAYS be something to complain about, but tbh I think a lot of the complaints I see are decently small by comparison to past years

Idk why people crap on this game. It’s seriously annoying. This was the best game I’ve ever played, alongside Cold War. And I haven’t played a COD game religiously since Black Ops 2. Because all the other ones did disappoint me. So to say I’m excited for a COD release says a lot. I wasn’t ever excited for a release since MW2 09.
My favorite Games are MW2 09, COD Ghosts, Cold War & now Black Ops 6…. Super excited thank you for this awesome review and honesty my friend. Looks like I’m gonna be a gamer again. And it only took 10+ years

I do agree the gunsmith is nicer, with simpler attachments that makes sense, but I do think it's a bit less intuitive in regards to where the parts are since they're laid out as a list instead of how non-treyarch games have them (muzzle attachment slot at the muzzle, magazine at the magazine).
Oh and a stats screen, but you mentioned that already anyways.

i did like the beta but had one main issue was the sbmm it was insanely annoying couldnt play a single good game without getting a sweat lobby the new sbmm is ai based to keep u at 1kd so that sucks but other than that no complaints
I'm genuinely curious where you are hearing SBMM is now "ai based" (or that it's been changed at all from mw3). I haven't heard that claim being made anywhere

I was able to have multiple good games back 2 back, in the last one, it was -Good Match, followed by a Curb STOMP- every time!....lol! So it felt scaled back to me I guess.

@stealthbrawler dude ong, I fuck with bo6 but with sbmm it's gonna be impossible to stick with it for a good amount of time. I had 3 normal matches in the beta where I got lead and then boom I'm back to where I was in every other cod.

@Jamzwhamz Oh, nah, MW2 had timed perks that you needed to earn each match, and MW3 is "gear" based on what vest you choose (and OG MW2/3 was just standard 3 tiered perks). AFAIK this system is completely new for cod
