  • In today's video we answer a question that was asked by two of our subscribers. This has been on our list for months and we apologize for taking so long to get to it. We were asked if glitter glue would work in a snow globe. Today we try using glitter glue in the snow globe and we are surprised by the results.
If you have not watched our previous videos, we use clear glue to thicken the water so the glitter falls slower. See the links below for a video were we compare the different options for your globe water.
    Thanks for watching!

Cool experiment! The glitter glue may be terrible for a snow globe but it would make a cool crystal ball. 😂😂😂 Nice work per usual guys, have a great weekend!

In relation to that galaxy globe idea: Elmer’s makes a glow in the dark glue. I have no idea if diluting it in water will negate all glowing ability, though.

Glow in the dark glue! We didn't know about that. That is going on our experiment To-Do list. Thank you.

Thank you. Pennsylvania, it's nice to find out where people are watching us from. I flew into Philadelphia once for a business meeting in Wilmington Delaware. We wanted to get an authentic Philly Cheese Steak in Philadelphia, however, we would have been late for our flight had we stopped and ended up getting one from the Hooters in the airport. Not sure how close it came.
Yes, you have been with us a long time. Thank you for all of the great comments and suggestions. We really appreciate it.

Congrats guys! You really deserve all the subscribers. I still can't thank you enough with giving me the courage to fix my own as well as work together (just a little bit) with certain water damaged music boxes and theories ❤
You guys are awesome and I'm glad I fell onto your page!

We forgot to mention that we definitely appreciate the suggestions and advice you have provided. No more swapping out music box mechanism if we can save the original tune!

@@snowgloberescue8887 I'm really glad to hear that and so glad I could give a little bit back to you guys! Remember: If you can, always keep the barrel and comb together for the best result.
Also, Happy Anniversary guys! I totally forgot to wish.

This is a really interesting effect. Did you concider to use it more often? I think the tinted water fits perfect to the theme. I don´t know about the prices for the colored glitter glue but there must be clear glitter glue as well. Then you can use food coloring to match the theme. I don´t know if you can safe some money when you use this method.
I watch so many videos but this is quite nice not gonna lie. Thanks for the experiment. Have a good one. ✌

Hi. We have not used the glitter glue since. As we mentioned in the video, we though it would just be clear glue with glitter but there is something more to this glue because using the same amount as the plain clear glue made the water significantly denser. You are correct, the tinted water would work in certain situations.

I was successful at changing the water and adding glitter for the first time. BUT I added purple glitter and now my water is pinkish. Any idea why? Or what kind I should use so that doesn’t happen? Thank you!!! I love you videos!

Thank you for watching. We are happy that you like the videos. We had that happen to us once as well. Check out Episode 154. We used red heart confetti glitter in some of the Valentines Day globe we fixed. A few days later the water turned pink. We did an experiment, I'm trying to remember, but I believe it was the clear glue in the water that caused the confetti dye to run. We normally use the Recollections line of glitter that you can get at Micheal's craft store or on Amazon. We have never had a problem with the brand.
