These must be the most sought after aircraft on the market just now.
VH-OGA Was Qantas aircraft registration use on Boeing B767-300ERGE use by Qantas between 1988 to 2009
I have always felt it a shame that QANTAS proper operated no international routes from Adelaide, leaving non-Australian carriers like Singapore, Emirates, Air New Zealand, Malaysia, China Southern, Fiji and Qatar to pick up the slack. (Not mentioning Jetstar, of course) Surely the A321XLR would make a leg from ADL/SIN worthwhile, in order to connect with QF1 to London. Further, one could see a QF flight ADL/AKL to connect with QF3 to New York. Both would avoid clumsy connections in Sydney, or flying through LAX or the Middle East. Both desirable IMHO.
deffinantly, i think that proven that there is demand for INT flights out of adelaide to asia with the use of the jetstar a321LRs so maybe they will see that and expand into ADL
Long and thin, the future of aviation. It's really that simple these days.
Not for Boeing though
@@AnetaMihaylova-d6f it is
Everyone raved about the B737-800/MAX. This aircraft is going to change a lot for the industry. I’m really intrigued about airlines using this and see if prices for long distances get slashed. Game changer, especially for a country like AUS being remote-ish.
GO AIRBUS A BEAUTIFUL ADDITION TO FUEL EFFICIENT FAMILY OF JETS GO AIRBUS❤❤
does ur dad own airbus?
GO AIRBUS GO
go boeing go!
@@flor1s maybe he owns daily mail
@AbdullahNajib-b9z go Boeing and Airbus go!
Wonder what configuration they will go for?
For reference, Iberia XLR EC-OIL, the first one delivered , operates in a two-class 182 seat layout, with 14 business and 168 economy.
Falmouth could be a top heritage destination in the Caribbean. Unfortunately the cruise terminal does not recognise this nor seem help in the towns restoration!
I don't know when last I heard good news about boeing. Keep it up airbus.🎉🎉🎉🎉
The Aussie avgeeks thought to see an A321neo sporting the "Flying Kangaroo" corporate logo it is NOT Australia's first A321neo as JetStar Airways Pty. Ltd. took that spotlight with the A321LR. Qantas is actually the ONLY airline company in Asia-Pacific to operate the A321XLR
SYD KUL coming soon???
we need it
I wonder what routes they will be using them on
Maybe Manila And Singapore
there starting on domestic routes to start then i would asume that they would expand to NZ first
Domestic first... Just to get the hang of everything, since this is a Fleet Change for Qantas, as they've been Boeing shorthaul for a long time. The Jet2 LRs were the Vanguard start.
Then they'll look at the international routes...
Domestic. Why? They decided to put FUCKIN RECLINER SEATS on them
i wonder if they will finish their routes without crashing
Demand for A320XLR is due to exponential growth of point to point traffic, saving cost, time as well fuel.
I seen the cabin photos, and imo they should be revamped if they want to use this plane on international flights, with the addition of any kind of IFE. Especially since they are routed to replace the ageing 737s with IFE screens.
Qantas have been using iPads in place of seatback video screens in a number of their aircraft for some time and the seats are modified to hold the iPads. It may be that Qantas have decided to avoid the installation of a high cost wired IFE system by opting for the iPad system.
@ Thanks for that! I never really flew Qantas before, so that’s nice to know.
It means may be April 2025 or earlier
If there is any plane that can do CBR-SIN and still make a profit, this would be it.
I think a321 xlr can serve Bangalore & Bangkok from Perth giving Qantas an edge
I wonder who will fly the plane on a 10 hour+ flight? Given it can fly 13 hours I think
Good to hear the Boeing 737 is being replaced by a better aircraft.
Anything *before* the MAX is simply a great aircraft. So I don’t think it’s right that you are including a whole series that’s been around forever and implying they are all terrible.
I was in the internet when Airbus and Boeing fans agreed on nearly everything, now a lot of people like you are just gloating by trying to say Airbus has always been better.
No need for Aviation to be a competition.
The 737 wouldn’t have made it to the MAX if it wasn’t a great aircraft. I hate the MAX and the people who ruined it, I love the new Airbus Neos, but I won’t take people trying to say a whole series is, “not better,” because that’s simply not true with the 737s before the MAX. I’ve seen too many of these comments, it just irritates me since I used to be proud of Boeing.
@@Delta_NWAB747fan the MAX is a great aircraft.maybe a little unlucky,a little less liked than the previous series, but its ok.
@AbdullahNajib-b9z max is not unlucky, it's just bad, Boeing caused the bad reputation of the max
@Delta_NWAB747fan 737 is outdated mate . You are living under a rock
@AbdullahNajib-b9z very good after killing 346 people yes 😅
Flew on a Delta A321 and it is not comfortable in First Class cabin.
How do you know that when you sat in couch?
@@chiad25 how you know he flew in "couch", im sorry coach.
No thanks not flying to Asia on a single asie jet. More profits than customer service
