Igor Levit studied in Hannover and Salzburg and is currently a professor at the Hanover University of Music, Drama and Media. Gramophone, one of the most influential classical music awards in the world, named Levit “2020 Artist of the Year”. In October 2020, Igor was awarded the “Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany”.
