    Hi Alex, Namita here from the Crazy for Anthuriums group. I don't know if you will be able to see my comment but I still wanted to convey that you are doing a great job at Protecting & restoring the mother nature. Would definitely love to Visit someday.. Best Wishes! 💚🤗

    I love the low light recommendation. There isn’t enough of that teaching on most plant channels. I for one keep low lights on my Anthurium velvet leaf.
    Love the doggy noises I have 2 and they pop up in my videos a lot. ❤

      Thanks! Yes for us it's all about the coolness and shadows, that helps the Anthurium to get huge and keep really dark and showy leaves, and keep more leaves too!
      all the best to you and your dogs!

    The work you all are doing is extraordinary and amazing. If I could only be there to help I would love to experience the diversity of nature and learn more about consevating these plants that are becoming extinct. I hope you all are well funded for your important and invaluable hard work!❤❤❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉🎉😮😮😮😊😊😊

      thank you so much for your reply, it always helps to read things like this! Funding as always is a real challenge in the conservation and restoration world, but hopefully this TH-cam channel along with an upcoming patreon and gofundme can help us on the financial side to be able to expand and increase our impact in at risk tropical forest ecosystems!

      There's quite a few on our previous video, if you'd like to check that out. We don't have as many Alocasia but you'll see some huge stingrays, a giant Portei, some variegated macrorrhyzos, black stem macrorrhyzos, odora x, frydek, and some massive Xanthosoma too!

    Where do you get these plants in Goa? I am from Goa but I don't find these exotic beauties at the local nursery I buy plants.

    • @JungleCitizens
      @JungleCitizens  หลายเดือนก่อน

      they are hard to find and mostly are only in the hands of private collectors. you can find some retailers in India that will ship plants, some are very good and others not so much. We also occasionally sell our seedlings.

    Your Aroids grow like crazzzy! If I didn’t know better I’d bet money that they were on steroids 😅. Stunning! I’ve never seen plants like this in india.

    About the Kaylee Ellen headtest, I can assure you: you don't look like her at all!

    • @JungleCitizens
      @JungleCitizens  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      besides the blonde hair, yes I think you're right. She is a little better presented, doesn't have a tonne of stress wrinkles and wears clothes without holes. Then again, we live in and work with an outdoor tropical forest whilst hers is indoors, so she would have less excuses than us!!

      @JungleCitizens  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Nah, when you work in a tropical forest you keep your working shirts until they fall apart. this one is 7 years old and still going strong!
